Fashionable and airy rooms with very comfortable lounge area's in beautiful setting, television, for example, genuinely helpful staff...

The beautiful grounds and multiple pools were a real highlight. It was so nice to have different areas to relax and unwind. The staff were also excellent, providing great service and checking in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. The fact that there were different spaces and lounge areas to choose from was a bonus.

The shower in our room could be improved. The water pressure was sometimes weak and the temperature was often too hot, which made it difficult to enjoy a comfortable shower.

The location turned out to be particularly good and incredible, short walk to the park and the river safari, the garden and the property across the road at Stable Cottages and the large garden area opposite the main building areas. It also was to centre of Addi village.

The room was beautifully designed with very comfy beds, and the breakfast was lovely and delicious. The location was stunning - within a walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go.

We stayed at the Elephant House for our visit to the Addo Elephant Park. The staff surprised me with a birthday cake and bubbles, and our room was lovely with clean bedding, a comfy bed, and a great shower. The Wi-Fi worked well and parking was ample. Breakfast was delicious, and the pool area was a perfect place to relax between safaris.

I do recommend this hotel.

liked our stay. we had a brilliant experience in this special and perfect hotel. the breakfast was gorgeous, great with juice and fresh fruit and home baked bread. the location of the venue was remote, so close to addo elephant park as well as the large garden area.

The hotel is conveniently located near a highway, making it easily accessible. It is also very close to Addo, allowing for easy exploration of the area. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are of a reasonable size. The staff provides excellent service and the breakfast is delicious. The hotel offers multiple pools, perfect for relaxation. The beautiful gardens and various lounge areas provide a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.

The noise during the night can be a bit disruptive to a good night's sleep.

The hotel is situated about a 10 km drive from Addo Game Park, which is perfect for those wanting to visit Addo as well as being a great place to stay. We loved the courtyard areas and the seating areas, which provided a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms exceeded our expectations, with a wonderful en-suite and large walk-in shower. They were very spacious but almost too much so. The breakfast was really good, with a variety of options and fresh fruit, and the staff were great and very helpful.

The dinner options left much to be desired, with no choice at all.

The lodge is in a fantastic location, very near to a national park with elephants. It's also conveniently located near a highway, making it easy to reach. Visitors can enjoy a comfortable bed, a modern shower, air conditioning, and a complimentary kettle with cookies. The staff is friendly, welcoming and happy to help.

Some lodges near the national park might have a noisy environment, which might be present here too.

Lovely place to stay, plus great game drive

I had an amazing stay at a charming lodge near Addo. The cottages were spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The game drive to the elephant park was unforgettable, although some other visitors caused a bit of chaos. The staff were incredibly welcoming, showing us around and making us feel at home. The dinner was delicious and the gong calling us in added a fun touch. I highly recommend this place for a memorable experience. I would definitely recommend this lodge for its great location and friendly staff.

Spent my New Year's Eve at a historic property nearby a wildlife park. Property offered a perfect escape from the bustling city life with the tranquillity of nature. Enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep in a spacious room with comfortable bedding. Appreciated the mouth-watering local cuisine served hot by the friendly staff and found it irresistible. The highlight was the wonderful pool area that provided a refreshing start to the day.

The property failed to meet expectations with the worn-out interiors and dirty common spaces. The service provided was not satisfactory and responses from the staff were slow.
