Hotel El Pescador Puerto Vallarta - 巴亞爾塔港

The location of the hotel is perfect, as it is close to everything and you can walk everywhere (no extra cash spent on cab fare).

The location is fabulous because of 's proximity to the Malecon, staff do an awesome job at keeping you coming back for more.

El Pescador is great in terms of location, it's very close to the Malecon and a large grocery store.

The taxi to/from the airport should only be 10 US dollars, but they will try to charge you more especially on arrival.

We got a tax ride from the airport for $20 and that was walking over the bridge to the yellow taxis, but later found out we could have gotten it for $10, the ride back from the hotel we did get for $10.

But our room was very nice with 3 single beds and a king size bed and a decent view of the ocean.

We all had our own bed, and the bathroom was big enough for the three of us to get ready.

All three of our groups rooms had the same bed.

Negatives - Beds are small and hard, towels are thin and rough, the room had a musty odor (went away after running the air conditioner), elevator is slow and small, non-heated pool.

My only REAL complaint, the mirror in my bathroom, and bedroom were both so darkly tinted that it was almost impossible to see to shave, I am not sure a woman could ever get her makeup on in there.

The restaurant and bar at the hotel is not recommend due to poor service and can be pricey compared to other PV restaurants.

Food was good in the Restaurant too, sometimes the service was a bit slow.

The service in the hotel/bar was great, and so was the food!

The food in the 'Coral' Restaurant was very good and reasonably priced.

One trip I'd definately recommend is the Taquilla tasting one, you get so much alcohol and a lunch in a beautiful small restaurant afterwards.

The service in the hotel/bar was great, the staff were all extremely helpful and the bathroom was nice and renovated.

At check-in, the front desk staff argued with us about our ocean-side reservation, told us they did not have a room available, then tried to charge us an extra $20 USD per night.

The staff in the restaurant and front desk were also very friendly, even though their english sometimes was a bit strained.

Reception was always very kind, as well as restaurant staff.

The pool and lobby area was very well kept, and even during spring break, it wasn't full of drunk loud people.

The best part of the hotel was that it wasn't crowded and the pool was great, clean, and warm.

The Mexican Tourists staying there were friendly, pool was cool.

The rooms are clean, the pool is a nice size.

Though we did not have an ocean front room, the room we had was pretty clean and spacious.

At reasonable prices, friendly staff and the room we had was pretty clean and spacious.
