Overview

Impressively set in the heart of Mazatlán’s Golden Zone, the El Cid Castilla Hotel is a few steps from the white sandy beaches of the Pacific Ocean and trendy shops, restaurants, and bustling nightclubs venues. The hotel is an ideal base for exploring the area’s rich cultural heritage, colorful 19th century buildings and churches.

Apart from an expansive sandy beach, with Palapa huts and lounge chairs, this five-star resort-style hotel boasts an array of such facilities as wireless high speed internet access, a state-of-the-art fitness center and secure parking lot.

The hotel provides a combination of 600 guest rooms and suites. Each accommodation is stylishly designed and outfitted with satellite TV, direct-dial telephone and a marble bathroom.

The hotel also has three restaurants that serve a wide range of cuisine in the style of daily buffets or à la carte selections. Guests can enjoy Italian and American cuisine as well as other international foods. The two bars boast a bounty of creative snacks, cocktails and beverages.

The business center is open from 9am to 7pm and additional charges are applicable. Wi-Fi internet access is provided in lobby, pool areas and most rooms for a nominal fee. There are 13 meeting rooms equipped with innovative audio-visual equipment.

Two-bedroom Suites feature a kitchenette.

Three-bedroom suites have Jacuzzi and sauna, as well as a well-equipped kitchenette.

Up to two children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing beds.

All further older children or adults are charged USD 54 per night per person when using existing beds.

One child under two years is charged USD 14 per night in a baby cot.

Baby cots are provided upon request and maximum capacity of babycots in a room is one.

There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.

Swim-up bar were great, aI food – Breakfasts were wonderful – good orange juice and the best waiter I had was Gustavo look for him.
This place was fantastic, the customer service was good and the rooms were clean and nice.

Rooms were clean and bright, fantastic view from the tower, the best place to eat was the pizza place across the street. The staff were excellent and the food was good for the time I was there.

Nice hotel for the price, staff very friendly and two hours to clean the room. And simple breads, etc, just great steaks and seafood.

No way worth the money old, only 1 tiny tiny elevator works for 21 floors.

This place was fantastic, the service was friendly and the entire resort was very clean, food was tasty and good selection. The pools were great.

The El Cid Castilla did not have the room we ordered upon arrival, the elevators were very slow.

Beautiful hotel and the freindliest staff, and excellent service, our room was very clean and big enough for two adults and two teenagers. The buffets were better than the restaurants.

The bedrooms nice and good food.

Poor selection and quality, the beach vendors things are also very expensive. Every you look, staff are busy cleaning up the grounds all day.
