It was perfectly pleasant stay, I appreciated lovely food.
Have stayed here many times and would book here again. Planned to see Laredo major attractions and it was reasonable base for visiting all of them. The staff was amiable and the room was new-fashioned and tidy. Location: the hotel was very close to the lovely beach, the public areas & good breakfast, and the centre.

Our location was great in a residential area of very fine houses. And we were not far from a nice and cosy garden, and beautiful Laredo.

Welcoming service, even though a few employees were not so helpful. Overall it was new-fashioned with a balcony. The location was great and magnificent, relatively near La Salve Beach.

Great and lovely food. Big unit with a balcony, eccentric decor & sheets, as example. Particularly good and peaceful location in Laredo very close to the public areas & good breakfast and cosy garden to relax.
Quite uncomfortable area.

I greatly enjoyed excellent and amazing friendly employees!
The location was particularly good for Laredo, next to the lovely beach as well as Laredo. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the triple room itself was brand-new and modern.

Charming place to stay while in Laredo. Fabulous food in the garden for breakfast. Brand-new and clean unit with a balcony. Early check-in, excellent employees. Great and beautiful location to La Salve Beach. Based so close to the promenade and El Ancla garden.
A little dated room.

The hotel had a great location, just a short walk from the beach and a quick drive to downtown. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The wifi signal was strong and the internet speed was fast throughout the hotel.
The hotel could use some updating, especially in the rooms. The beds were not the most comfortable and some rooms looked dull and outdated.

Close to the beach; quiet (we were there outside of the season); cousy and nice atmosphere (sailing/boating theme was nice); spacious room; breakfast outside in garden; reception desk operator spoke English.

What a good stay, no complaints. Beautiful accommodation with stunning setting near the promenade, the centre of the old city and restaurants and shopping.

Great location, just a short walk to the beach and not too far from downtown. The staff were friendly and accommodating, willing to help with any requests. The room was clean and had a good bathroom with a nice shower. The outside seating area was perfect for relaxing in better weather.
The breakfast arrangements were strange, no proper place to sit and eat, and the limited options served on a tray were a disappointment. The hotel itself felt dark and outdated, with too much nautical memorabilia.

Breakfast in the garden. Comfortable bed
Very tired small room. They tried to charge the Tax (EVA) twice!

The hotel contains lots of litle things related to historical boats for example navigation instruments, wonderful pictures and other maritime details. The name "El Ancla" is perfect. The garden and the location near to the sea is perfect to relax.
