Edinburgh Grosvenor Hilton - 爱丁堡

Good location: next to Haymarket station and helpful staff.

Very good location, quite handy into town and the atmosphere of the hotel was also very nice.

Good location, efficient and friendly staff made you feel welcome on arrival to the hotel, i think the hilton breakfast is excellent.

The location could not be better, right across from Haymarket train station and the airport bus station and a 10 minute walk to Princess Street.

We flew to ediburgh airport and got a bus direct to the hotel ( just across the road) - then we checked in - to find that as they knew we were a honeymoon couple - put us in the best room in the hotel.

Two couples had double rooms which were very well appointed and the third couple had a king size bed and a single bed room which was spacious and airy.

The only issue was that the bedroom was around the same size as the bathroom which resulted in the bedroom only being able to house a single bed.

But the room - carpet threadbare, loose floor tiles in the bathroom, bed had seen several better days.

Beds was so uncomfortable (could feel the springs) we went to the front desk and asked for another room or another bed.

It had huge ceilings, a king size bed, big comfy cotton robes, a sitting area and a really nice size bathroom.

Breakfast was good and food in the restaurant was also good however a little bit overpriced.

Breakfast at the hotel was advertised at £16 which I thought rather expensive as were the drinks at the bar.

The decor in the Hilton is all modern and up to date, lovely bar and restaurant area.

The bar was comfortable and the breakfast was lovely.

The restaurant is very good although only had breakfast there which we could not fault.

Others at the reception desk/ quiet environment/ excellent location for delegates attending congresses at the EICC/ friendly atmosphere and served by pleasant staff.

Kindness dignified restraint of staff/ obligingness of porters, excellent service at breakfast.

Bar areas were lovely, the hotel staff were very helpful and reception was very kind.

If you spent time hanging out in the lobby, you probably would have been annoyed.

The elevator is small - claustrophobics should use the stairs.

Parking was not a problem for us, I would suggest contacting the hotel if you are driving yourself to ask where the best places are to park.

Wireless internet connection was very, very weak.

Rooms were clean and tidy, breakfast was lovely.

The rooms have not been re-furbished yet, but are still in good condition, very clean, and smell fresh.

Friendly helpful staff and the rooms were nice and clean.

Also sTaff were very friendly and helpful, the athol suite was gorgeous, clean the breakfast was excellent.

Our twin rooms were all of a really good size, very clean and, although a little tired in decor, still very comfortable.
