Eden Au Lac Hotel Zurich - 苏黎世

The location is great, eden au Lac is a charming "Old World Hotel" that is located 10 minutes slow walk from Paradplatz and service is very good.

The good location and bright dining room looking out to the lake.

Great location und has a fantastic scenery and hotel staffers were excellent.

We stayed at this hotel for only one reason: Our flight home took off at the airport in Zurich.

Location is a bit out of the way; it's either a long walk into town or a cab ride; on the other hand, it's a bit off the beaten track if you like that.

Quality of beds/linens/bathrooms/guest rooms/ public rooms wonderful and friendly staff.

The bathroom, positively sparkling, was new with a glass-enclosed shower, a huge tub and a “paperless” toilet.

I made the reservation 20 days in advance and specifically asked for a room with a double-bed, I even sent them a written fax with my request!

We were booked here and when we got to the hotel they gave us their best regular room and it was small with only one bed, we specificly asked for two.

The hotel bar was wonderful, the staff in general was kind and the two bedroom suite was new and huge.

The breakfast, which is included with the room, has a lakeside view and an unlimited assortment of items on the bar including smoked salmon-one of my favorites.

The breakfast buffet was also very nice in the large formal, bright dining room looking out to the lake.

Especially enjoyable was the bar/lounge where you can get tea and coffee as well as drinks.

The service isn't used to be is wonderful and the bar is usually relatively quiet.

But with standard setting service, understated elegance, and an ambience only small hotels can provide (which includes the best buffet breakfast I have had anywhere), the Eden au Lac may be as close as mere mortals can get.

We were very happy that we stayed at the Eden Au Lac and at all times the staff was gracious and accomodating.

From top to bottom the staff has one goal: make the guest's stay perfect.

I loved the hotel and very friendly staff.

There was lots of starched white linen, heavy hotel silver, helpful staff and excellent coffee, always served with hot milk.

Positives: great atmosphere, friendly staff.

OK, the Garden of Eden was probably in the Middle East, and thanks to a problem with a snake, we probably won't be checking in soon.

There was a roomy desk with both paid Ethernet and wireless offered.
