The hotel's location was very well located for trams, bars, cafes and restaurants, being so very close to leidseplein.

This so-called 4-star hotel (Booked.net rating) is in an impressive listed building, with a fabulous art-deco restaurant and bar, located in an ideal location for the best that Amsterdam has to offer.

The Hotel's location can't be faulted as it is situated in the heart of the eating/drinking/shopping/theatre area (Leidesplein) and only a few minutes walk from the main art and histrory museums.

The tram stops right in front of the hotel, which is super convenient, no taxi is necessary from the train station or the airport.

They were able to make reservations for us as needed for restaurants and taxis to the airport.

Friendly Staff, good rooms with soft beds, hot water, to fill the large bath tub.

Our room was large (for amsterdam) kingsize bed, air con, nice clean bathroom.

The room was spotless with the biggest bed I ve ever seen, though the bathroom was a little on the small side (though spotless nevertheless).

Our room was large by Amsterdam standards with a nice sitting area, really comfortable bed, and small but sufficient bathroom.

The bathroom was very modern and clean, and the room itself was fitted with attractive and contemporary fittings, especially the bed which was extremely comfy and helped ease the body after a long day of wandering the canals!

I had breakfast and lunch several times in the restaurant and enjoyed my meals.

The hotel itself has a great bar and dining area, though unfortunately we werent up early enough to sample the breakfast.

We ate only once in the restaurant and that was for breakfast.

The restaurant was very elegant, and although a little pricey, it is worth having breakfast at least once, if only for the choice of food.

The restaurant and bar food were both great, the bar also had an extensive cocktail list.

The staff were friendly, and welcoming, and the reception and concierge were delightful.

Service - the reception staff were helpful, polite, professional and friendly.

Moreover the front desk staff was extremely helpful and attentive, our room was spacious.

The facilities-gym, sauna, were excellent, and there was excellent room service, and batrobes in every room.

There was a small gym and a sauna downstairs (in the basement area).

Also, a nice little gym at hotel that is rarely used with a nice dry Sauna which is surprisingly for Amsterdam.

I suspect a lot don’t even know how easy it would be to maintain their own wireless networks instead of sharing profits with greedy telecoms.

The rooms were larger than expected, and very clean and well presented.

The hotel was walkable to most attractions, clean, fairly spacious and we were lucky to get a room that overlooked the canal.

The bathroom was rahter small but modern and clean.

Room was spacious and clean, staff were very helpful and friendly.

The rooms and hallways are a bit dated, but they are spotless and have many amenities.
