The view from our room at Hotel Edda was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the river. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of options. The shower had great water pressure and the beds were comfortable. Despite being a boarding school in the off-season, we didn't feel the institutional vibe mentioned in other reviews. The location was convenient and the overall experience was enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel for its beautiful views and comfortable amenities.

good location for northeast iceland excursions. ... we changed plans and stayed @ a # of other edda hotels. they offer a free breakfast on your 3rd night and a free stay on the 5th. ... very friendly, helpful staff(s) and consistently nice, clean, and comfortable hotels. highly recommended.
