Location is good - right in the heart of George Town, we are certain that this hotel will be a regular stop we travel to this part of the world and the price is a bit high.

The location is very central in George Town, great to stay for a taste of old world charm and the customer service would be alot better.

Lovely location and rooms was magnificent - most seem to face the sea.

The outdoor seating overlooking the ocean and the location was also very good.

Excellent location and on a most interesting island.

Lovely views, the outdoor seating overlooking the ocean and the Hotel's location was handy for Penang attractions.

An amazing hotel, excellent service and a seperate bedroom that leads to a large bathroom.

Our room was on the ground floor with French doors opening up to the garden area which had some lawn furniture and then it only took about 20 steps to be standing at the edge of the pool.

I think that I booked the room online, last minute through Agoda.

Anyhow, when we arrived, they had no notification of our room or the special rate.

Staff was really helpful and the room was huge.

The bathroom was fantastic, the bar snacks were good value and the food was excellent both at breakfast.

The after-hours bar is also nice, initiative offer of take away breakfast on day of departure to catch an early flight and to my suprise I didn't have much time to enjoy most of the facilities there.

Staff were friendly, the room was large and would avoid the 1885 Fine dining restaurant we found disappointing both in quantity.

The buffet breakfast was amazing, swimming pool was lovely.

The breakfast was superb and the pool was excellent.

The view from the room was spectacular, the grandeur of the hotel in addition to the service made for a very special experience and the entire staff were friendly and helpful.

The pool area is elegant relaxing the sea next to looked dirty and smelly, service is excellent throughout the whole hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful.

Anyway this place is exceptional and the reception staff is not well informed to be really helpful.

There were a lot kind of food and swimming pool was lovely.

The pool area is good in that is clean and the hotel facilities are not quite as exceptional.

Historic hotel and the lobby makes an amazing impression.
