Basically choose it because of its location (we were attending a function on the river that departed from Barrack Street Jetty and the hotel was about two blocks walk away) and the price.

Private sitting area for club floor and a far better experience for a lot less money than my previous hotel experience approximately 3 weeks ago.

Better to go to the Dome cafe opposite the hotel which can do a filling English Breakfast for more than half the price.

Very ordinary hotel for the price - dull, boring, tired looking.

Good meal close to city surprisingly quiet being located in the CBD, hotel is in great location and the staff is very helpful.

Beautiful view of the Swan River and the location of the hotel is very good.

Walking distance to city shopping excellent location and we had planned on enjoying good accomodation in Perth for the finale of our trip.

Private lifts for club lounge guests is rather nice and the location is great too.

It is situation within the CBD, and the shopping malls & entertainment areas are just a short walk away or 5 minutes by taxi.

They tried to bump us into a room when we had booked and paid for a Suite we ended up having to pay more for another bed so I was very annoyed.

After telling staff about the room being a twin, they were not willing to give us a king bed room even though we found out the next day they had rooms available.

The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in away from home and also they kept the lobby bar opened late for a wedding party that i was in was very generous.

The rooms are spacious and well set out and the bed is comfortable.

I booked a king bed room for the weekend as a treat for my partner who had recently come out of hospital.

Breakfast food was very good but the restaurant was over-crowded, messy and chaotic.

We ate at the restaurant and though not the nicest place we have eaten at (not the worst either), the portions are huge and the food is decent.

The staff are so friendly and helpful, the room to be of quite a luxurious nature, the food in the restaurant is also very good.

Club room was good, breakfast too was in the Club Lounge all of was complimentary.

We chose the Duxton in Perth for 's central location, meals at the hotel restaurant were also very good and the staff were helpful.

Stayed in Club rooms, beautiful view of river from room but front desk staff and manager unfriendly with poor customer service.

Breakfast in restaurant was excellent, room service not good, front desk staff dreadful.

Luxurious hotel stay I've enjoyed anywhere in the world, the staff at the Duxton were absolutely lovely and the reception made sure we were given a much better room on the 2 remaining nights.

Furthermore the staff at reception were exceptionally polite and welcoming, we just stayed in the room, buffet breakfast was very nice - plenty of choice.

The gym/pool on the lower floor below the Lobby could be accessed via the lifts and you would not be required to walk through the edge of the Lobby.

To top it off the pool and spa was closed; they didn’t offer any alternative and didn’t even tell people, they just pretended there wasn’t anything wrong.

Only complaint, the pool area was such a let down, why they don't have a pool on the roof Hong Kong style is beyond me, that view with a roof terrace would be the equal of anywhere in the world.

The bathroom was clean and also spacious and well lit.

My room was clean and spacious with a fantstic view of the beautiful Swan River.

I went to the front desk to be told to clear out of the room by 11AM or there will be a half-day room charge!

    A great city getaway, good quality rooms and loved the Lobby Bar - quirky. The staff very helpful and concierges were very friendly. Club suites were excellent, the food was very nice and pool: heated was way too cold to actually swim in.

    The location is excellent, i also loved the little 'night light' beside the bed is the first I've seen in a hotel and staff are very accomodating to requests. Club room is private and drinks is a great idea.

    Pretty central city location and private atmosphere. House keeping was good & unobtrusive, the lobby was attractive and spacious, the staff were impeccably presented. The bath was huge and the bar prices were reasonable. The breakfast was awesome and harold our waiter was great "the best.

    The view from the Club Lounge was excellent and comfort made our stay exciting. The service was fine and the concierge was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the spacious room and the bar fridge was well stocked. There was a good supply of tea, the staff at check-in were polite and outdoor spa was beautiful and warm.

    The location was great for the reason we were in Perth, we also enjoyed a lovey afternoon at the bar attached to the hotel and every staff member I met during my 4 days was excellent. Club room was good, breakfast too was in the Club Lounge all of was complimentary.
