Duplooys Jungle Lodge San Ignacio

Great river for tubing, nearby botanical garden a nice and duPlooy's location is perfect.

Canoeing/swimming in the river is a great plus, the location is beautiful and the hotel is on a lovely property.

I highly recommend this location for anyone traveling to Belize.

The only downside is that the hotel is located off the beaten path so expect to travel around 1-2 hours/day to reach the major highlights of Belize (I believe most hotels would be the same way due to how spread out everything is).

The staff was very friendly, the large bed was very comfortable and the food for the wedding was spectacular.

The mature, carefully-nurtured plantings around the site (including the adjacent Belize Botanic Gardens) embrace you in their beauty and bring amazing wildlfe sightings to eye-level as you walk the canopy-level boardwalk between your room and the convivial bar.

River tubing tour was very nice, breakfasts were pretty good as was the lunch we had on site on the first day and the outdoor bar built in the tree canopy was an amazing place to be.

The service great, the room as comfortable and clean, the food in the restaurant is amazing.

Great big rooms, the bar was nice and the food was awesome.

Evening visits of kinkajous to the outdoor bar were appreciated by all and the food was excellent.

Ricky at the bar was exceptional and the food was quite good.

The whole staff was great, but we particularly clicked with him and had memorable outings to El Pilar and Barton's Creek Cave, plus on-site guiding that truly opened our eyes and ears wider.
