The hotel is well furnished and well decorated which create a cosy atmosphere. The staff is nice.

The room was supposed to be 12 square meters but we actually didn't find them! The room was big enough to put a bed in, and about 1 square meter to stand up and leave our backpacks. For 12 dollars it gets very expensive for what you've got. There was no windows (actually yes there were 2, looking to the corridor...). You feel a bit like in a cute prison. Don't be clostrophobic, or don't spend any time the room!

I have stayed in over a dozen Vietnam hotels so far that were more expensive than this one. Most of them were not as new, clean, or have as good air conditioning as the River Hotel. Most of those over 12 hotels also did not have CNN on their TV, so I was delighted this cheapest hotel did have CNN.

The rooms are small and you get the toilet and bath floor wet taking a shower, but many much more expensive Vietnam hotels also have that disadvantage. They need to put a sign by the main road to help tourists find this relatively new hotel.

The room was very clean, the furniture looked new and the location is as good at it gets, close to the beach, within the tourist area, yet quiet enough, as it is not at the main street. The staff is friendly and the wi fi works fine in the entire hotel.

The map of the hotel provided on the Booked.net website is completely inaccurate. We walked for an hour with our backpacks in the scorching sun trying to find the hotel, we were right on the spot it was supposed to be according to the map, but we couldn't find it. So don't rely on the map, ask around until you are lucky enough to find a local that speaks English and knows the address. There is no sign on the main street, the hotel is on a narrow alley and you have to get to the end of the alley in order to see it. Also, although the room was very clean when we got there, there was no room service during our stay, not even to take out the garbage. We eventually spent 3 nights there and we hanged the "please clean the room" sign on the door, but to no result. The shower leakage is on the bathroom floor. Our room was very small and had no windows.

Great staff, rooms are ok (we had a room with a balcony, there were rooms without windows, less nice) and address in the center of the city, not far from the beach. .

Hotel staff were amazing, couldn't have been more helpful. Great location, near popular backpacker bars and 3 min walk to the beach. I can not rate this hotel highly enough!

Great staff, very helpful and friendly, cheap motorbike rental, excellent laundry service, comfy beds and because it is in an ally no street noise. After checkout we were allowed to store luggage and when we picked them up in the evening we were even offered a shower... all in all a great place for a low price!!

We had a great stay here. We spent 4 nights here and they let us check out late on the 5th day as we were catching the night bus to hoi an. Great location, close to the beach, restaurants and bars. The rooms are nice and clean and well worth the price we paid ( been travelling around asia for 4 months and paid a lot more for a lot worse ).

Great location, on a back street but near to the beach and all the restaurants/bars etc. Room was clean and had everything you needed, including a balcony. Very good value for money. The staff were great - very friendly and chatty and helped out above and beyond with everything - I even got some free informal help with my Vietnamese! Would recommend.

The building is very clean in a quiet street 2-minute walk from the beach, right in the heart of everything. Staff is extremely helpful and willing to give the best to make your stay unforgettable. They can help you with everything in the city, from laundry to booking buses, trips, diving, etc. Free wifi also.

The location, price and quality were all good. On our arrival, we were offered a vacant room better than the one we had booked for no price increase.

The staff could have been a little more interested and attentive.

Family-run hotel in an alley in the backpacker center of NT. Excellent value but you should look at the rooms, the standard doubles are rather smallish. For the same price, you might be able to get a "street" view room, a bit bigger with balcony.Five minutes to the beach and dozens of restaurants, cafes and street vendors within 100 meters. Staff can handle travel reservations and rentals at reasonable prices. Competition in this price range is fierce in NT and the Dung Trinh holds it own.

The daily room service is almost non-existent, even when requested. If planning a long stay, get this issue resolved up front.

It was clean and modern. Great location in relation to restaurants and the beach. Wifi and flat screen tv worked perfectly. Family run hotel so it felt safe. Rooms weren't huge but for £8 a night for a double no complaints.

The staff were very accommodating, really nice and helpful with anything you needed. It was a lovely clean hotel, the rooms were perfect, comfortable beds, nice spacious bathroom, good air-con. Location was great too! I would definitely stay here again!
