We had a wonderful stay at a charming country house that felt like home. The location was amazing and had beautiful settings, such as the garden which was relaxing to walk around in or sit in. Dining was an experience by itself, as we could choose to eat outside in a beautiful garden, in the local pub of the establishment or opt for an area with heaters to keep warm. The rooms were spacious and had fine furnishings and views of the peaceful gardens. We enjoyed the homemade breakfast which was delicious.
Despite a wonderful stay, there was a lack of 24-hour service, such as the front door locking up at night and the possibility of not finding someone at the front desk made it difficult for accessing services at times.

Peace and quite and bar was nice
Food was awful and decor was awful, hasn't been updated in years, a very poor experience overall although the hotel has great potential it has obviously received no capital investment in many years, very disappointed overall and completely overpriced.

We loved the hotel's beautiful gardens and convenient location close to everything in the city. The pub attached to the house provided us with lovely food and great entertainment during our stay. The breakfast offered by the hotel was good, and the staff was welcoming and friendly.

I had an amazing time at this place! The staff were incredibly helpful and always had a smile on their faces. The food was absolutely fantastic, both in the restaurant and the pub. I highly recommend trying out their delicious meals. The atmosphere here was so relaxing, it made me feel right at home. The room I stayed in was spacious and super comfortable. I had plenty of space to move around and relax.
I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about this place. It was absolutely perfect.
