Dukes Head Hotel King's Lynn - Kings Lynn

Great position, the location of the hotel is superb being situated right on the main square in the town.

Handy location for birdwatching trips, we were walking distance to some lovely old parts of King's Lynn and the hotel was very well situated.

The location is very good, for a cheap hotel stay is OK and the square is situated on has fabulous historical buildings.

The location was great for a family visit for a short break, the Staff were really good and the room was fairly spacious & nicely done.

Very good location in the centre of historic King's Lynn, we chose because of its central locality so we could see Kings Lynn in two days.

The best views come from the bedrooms in the somewhat old-fashioned main building, they are probably much nicer in the extension, we preferred the antiquated rooms, with four-poster bed, overlooking the beautiful square.

My room was the noisiest I have ever stayed in and i can only suspect there was a boiler or some kind of generator in the wall behind my bed.

The bedroom/bathroom decor was poor although carpets/curtains/furniture were fine.

A very comfy king size bed, much prefer a cooked menu as I am coeliac.

In addition the staff friendly and very comfortable bed.

In need of a refurb - yes it is tired but the reception, bar and restaurant was fine.

Hotel very poorly decorated, roof leaked with buckets in residents lounge, service was poor, recpetionist not very welcoming, breakfast was disorgnaised and food poor.

Breakfast was chaotic and the food was of a very poor quality.

I had to work in the evening and so ate early in the hotel, I was probably the only person in the dining room (usually a bad sign) but the food was of a reasonably good standard and was a good sized portion.

That said, blink and you'll miss breakfast- although it was only £5.

Furthermore reception service most helpful and large Room.

Reception staff were helpful and pleasant, once we had figured out to work the heating we were warm.

We checked in with no welcome from the reception staff, and then were directed to the lift.

Staff were excellent especially Marion was trying to serve meals.

difficult to maintain a business under circumstances and service was great.

Pretty convenient to access town centre and parking is good at the rear of the hotel.

We were just around the corner from the lift, and that made a noise that I can only describe as like the noise the Titanic made when it was sinking.

The situation was excellent, needed a good clean would not stay there again the best prt was the staff and our room was lovely.

Although rooms were clean, the shabby decor was not as one would expect from a chain such as Elizabeth hotels.
