  Front desk staff went out of their way to help us get other rooms. Pool is small but if you have little kids would be perfect to always watch them. Hotel location is great for access to other KC sites. In general, it seemed that the staff was one person short.

  Booked on-line the suite (king bed in one room and pull out double in the other). She actually took us to one of the rooms to let us see if it would be OK. We asked for a roll-a-way bed on check in but we had to ask two other times before we got it.

  It would be nice if there was a shuttle service to the field. It was very clean, a great variety to the breakfast menu and gated parking - although the back gate seemed to remain open all day.

  From the minute we arrived the staff was fun and friendly, they let us check in early even though they were completely booked and very busy due to the baseball game. The room was clean and cozy and we managed to fit 5 girls in it comfortably. The breakfast buffet that is also FREE is wonderful.

  The hotel has a gated parking area allowing only hotel guests into the parking area. The clerk gave us a discount on the room for both nights we stayed. This room was very clean, and the shower had lots of hot water.

  The beds were very comfy and had lots of pillows. The breakfast area is set up so nice to serve yourself in and the eating area is very large. The staff is very helpful and they have great tip sheets on all the different restaurants in the areas and how to get there and another sheet that listed all of the stores in the area.

  The location is great for a Royals or Chiefs game - you can walk from the hotel to the stadiums really easily (and you can actually see into Kauffman Stadium from the hotel). The room was clean, and the staff was very friendly, but I just had the impression that the hotel was getting older - there were fairly deep and noticeable scratches/holes in the toilet and bathtub, and it just gave me the feeling that is was getting a little worn down.

  I recently attended a conference in Kansas City and my colleagues and very much enjoyed our stay at the Drury Suites. The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff was very efficient. They had a nice lobby area, free wireless, and a good breakfast and evening "happy hour.

  Rooms were VERY LARGE, very clean and beds were comfy. The beds were not your standard cheap-O beds they were really soft with lots of soft pillows. Shower water pressure and temp was great. There is a security gate to get in and out of the hotel parking lot and to the hotel itself which is a nice perk. Staff was very friendly and very helpful.

  Check-in/out were super fast and friendly. The room was spotless, everything was functional and in good condition, and the free wireless internet worked well. From the look & feel of it, the mattress in my room was almost brand new and quite comfortable. Breakfast at the Drury is much better than most hotels in its price range - eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, french toast and waffles, and the usual assortment of continental stuff. I also appreciated that parking was in a gated lot - presumably to keep people attending ball games across the street from parking at the hotel.

  The rooms are a bit on the small side, and you do hear some road noise from the nearby interstate, but neither of those items bothered me. The seating area gets very crowded during the reception, but they don't seem to mind if you take the cocktails and snacks back to your room.

• The service is outstanding, friendly and helpful, I have NO complaints on the staff. ALL FREE, as well as the reasonable room rates make it very, very, economical for traveling families.
