Good location off I35 just 3 miles north of MLK Blvd exit to UT and this hotel is a great value.

Good location off I35 just 3 miles north of MLK Blvd exit to UT and the hotel itself is clean.
There were 3 of us so we got a one bedroom suite - pull out couch bed, 2 double beds with a door that closed to that room, microwave, small fridge, 2 TV's, etc.
The beds were comfortable with lots of comfy pillows, the hotel was fairly quiet, and in our 2 room suite we could hear zero noise from our bedroom.
Having the 2 room suite with 2 double beds and 3 people was definitely worth the extra ~$30 for the night.
We stayed in a suite with a king size bed.
The bed was comfortable and our room had two tvs and a couch.
The waffle bar at breakfast was great and the rest of the breakfast food was more than fair.
In addition food on the snack bar was good.
There may have been other hot items, but we didn't eat breakfast so am not sure.
The friendly staff helped us with directions to the Austin Zoo, breakfast for the early ones for the race, help with take out meals, along with snacks and drinks nightly and popcorn each afternoon.
Complimentary hot breakfast and evening cocktails and food were generous and better in quality than we expected.
Also the staff was friendly, the concierge was helpful and the suites were large enough.

And too the day of our departure they decided to start to work on the elevators, so I had to haul luggage down a 10-mile long hallway to the other elevator and walk back!
