This was my first time in London and after looking through the different options in center London I decided to take this hotel for its value for money. The best thing I could have done. The hotel is excellent; big rooms; nicely decorated; excellent service; and a train station at 2 minutes walking (don't worry you won't hear or even see the trains from the hotel) that will take you to London Paddington in 10 minutes (there are no trains on sunday so you'll have to go to Ealing Brodway on the central or district underground lines and then walk 15 minutes in that case). I will without doubts stay here again next time.

Excellent service by very friendly staff even the manager checked everything was ok. Rooms recently refurbished to a very high standard. Good food (breakfasts & bar snacks) 10 mins into Paddington on the overland train close to West Ealing station (closed on Sundays) Very good value for money would definatly stay here again. 10/10

        No compaints at all

What a discovery this recently renovated hotel! We stayed in two suites with the family which provided excellent value for money. Staff is very attentive without exception. Food is down to earth and of good quality. There is a wonderful garden behind the hotel which doubles as an extention of the restaurant and pub. We did unfortunately not have time to use the spa. Ealing Broadway Tube station within a 10 minute walk from where the Cental Line takes you straight into the City. We will certainly return to this hotel on future trips to London.

Smart exterior as Hotel recently refurbished. Entrance goes past the breakfast room and bar as downstairs is a pub - looks a very nice place to eat/drink with old fashioned bar and wooden floors, all recently refurbed and looked very warm and inviting. Outside seemed to be an extensive and pleasant seating area from the pub. Staff were very welcoming, efficient and polite. Rooms and general decor fitted out to a high standard and all rooms themed to the Ealing studio's classic films from the 50's and 60'S. Nice touch and seemed to work well. Rooms are high quality and we liked little touches such as water and fresh milk in the rooms for tea and coffee. Ealing Broadway station just outside - 2- min walk and in a very pleasant area.

No complaints, but perhaps the price could be a little cheaper as not really central London and apart from access to London from Ealing train stations, not much else in the vicinity. Convenient for Wembley stadium, but beware journey times as you generally have to go via Hangar Lane, so not quite 10-mins travel time.

Staff had a real can do attitude, nothing was to much trouble. The concept worked really well and the food was excellent. Parking front and back, very close to train station and the health spa/gym associated is only 5 mins away.

The hotel has gone through a major refurbishment and should have been comp by the 19th June, however, this had run over so there were a couple of issues in the room which let down the very high standards which they are looking to and will no doubt achieve. Would definitely book again.

There was a problem with our reservation and the staff went out of their way to solve the issue. Rooms are fabulous. Very relaxing. Garden view is charming. Bar has a fun atmosphere. Wish we could have stayed another night.

The hotel was newly opened, so there were a few minor snags to sort. However, the manager David and his staff were excellent and were obviously working very hard to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We will definitely return to use the hotel again.

Excellent hotel - lovely room, large, well furnished, high quality toiletries, teas, coffees, very comfortable beds with great linen, well sound proofed. Plus, this hotel doesn't have hidden charges - full breakfast included, no room service charges, free wifi, complimentary water in the rooms. Plus, the gym they give you access to is superb - it has a 20m swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna etc etc. Ths hotel reminded me of Hotel du Vin in style, if that helps. Highly recommended, and believe me, I have high standards.

It's not on the underground. However, West Ealing station is literally across the road and that's one stop from Ealing Broadway.

Beautifull room. The food was georgeous. Very friendly.

Very very busy pub trade on friday night. But must say we could not hear it in our room. Althoug it meant there was no where else quiet to sit.

Very clean, quiet and very friendly staff. Good food for breafast and also that one served in the pub. To reach the centre it takes about 20 minutes (bus to Ealing Broadway station, and then on the red line to Oxford), it's a pleasant ride.

Very good standard with new decorations & furnishings: fresh milk in the room! Comfortable bed and room at the back with no traffic noise overlooking big pub garden. Good size bathroom. Very clean. Excellent breakfast. For London good value for money

No late food available and access to rooms a bit pokey, next to a rather raucous public bar

We had the suite room which was very lovely the staff were very helpful and great choice for breakfast

The only fault with the hotel was the parking it took us 30 min trying to park the parking behind the hotel should be just for people staying at the hotel not people using the restaurant

We stayed here in August on a very rainy day so the welcome at the Drayton was much needed after our journey! We stayed in a suite (Whiskey Galore) and it really was fab. There was a bathroom with a double monsoon shower, sink, toilet. In the main room there was a nice sitting area with tv and a seperate area with a freestanding bath. The bed was very comfortable, superking size, and in general the room was luxurious and beautifully decorated. We ate downstairs in the bar in the early evening and the food was fresh and good value. The breakfast was tasty and freshly prepared (you were given a menu). Overall we had a relaxing stay.

Nothing too serious but perhaps things to note: Ealing is quite far from central london, this is fine if you don't mind travelling in everyday of your trip on the tube. There was a little noise until about 1am from the bar downstairs (saturday night) but not too bad. There is no option to have your breakfast in the room. The menu in the bar is the same as the room service menu, bear this in mind if you plan to eat at the hotel and then get room service as the choice can seem limited. There is nothing in the immediate vicinity of the hotel so if you go there, really you are going to stay at the hotel and not to experience London.
