Doubletree Hotel Philadelphia - 费城

The Doubletree is located in an excellent location right in the heart of the arts district.

The location is very good; close to Market and Walnut Street, and not a far walk to the Independence Hall/Liberty Bell area.

The location was fairly close to many of the tourist attractions, although you'll do some walking to get there.

Walking distance to the Phlash stops, taxis passed by the hotel all the time, and near the subway also.

Because I was traveling with my 6 foot tall teenage son.

The Doubletree assigned us an end-unit room that had 1 Queen sized bed, 2 desks, a coffeemaker, couch and 2 window units with city views of Broad Street.

The room is a bit larger than normal which was nice, but the TV is just normal size and on the other side of the room from the bed, making viewing TV at end of day near impossible.

In the final room I was able to get, the walls were all dented, the bathroom tub leaked into the bathroom floor, and there were gummy bears under the air conditioner.

We booked through Hotwire and we were given a room that was not recently renovated, but it was still nice, clean, and had a comfortable bed.

The room was clean and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable after a long day.

We ordered breakfast via room service (you fill out a request form the night before) and I believe that was actually LESS expensive than the breakfast buffet we ate the next morning at their restaurant.

The restaurant served a breakfast buffet and two of the three days, we were not charged for our son's breakfast, which we liked, but I guess that's left to the discretion of the waitstaff.

Restaurant - breakfast only, but the buffet was very good.

I ate at the restaurant on the second floor and found the staff to be very nice and the food to be very good.

We didn't eat any other meals there, though, as there are a multitude of restaurant choices all over the city.

Staff very friendly and helpful, very courteous employee, room service was quick a bit pricey.

Naturally that's the job of the concierge although I have found that the few times I've asked a receptionist a question RE local spots they always seem to know the answer or refer me to a manager if they don't know and the concierge is unavailable.

Front desk staff was very friendly, the beds were very comfortable.

We were on the 23rd floor and were very close to the elevators but we did NOT hear any elevator noise the entire time.

The hotel has a heated pool, fitness center, and a sunning area on the roof.

From the inside of the hotel, you have to walk through the fitness center to get to the pool, which I didn't care for.

I had used wireless at another hotel during the same trip and it did work once at the Doubletree).

Bathroom was average-sized, very clean as well.

The room was large and clean, with a fair amount of light.

Our room was clean, pillows were very comfortable and parking was convenient.

First and foremost, I have always found the rooms to be 100% clean, neat and in excellent condition.

Our room was clean, nice size, great view.
