  Very clean, friendly staff, upgraded beds/linens. The "continental" breakfast buffet was very good and included hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, oatmeal, some sort of french toast. Unlike the nice Mpls downtown hotels, the parking is free.

  I live in the neighborhood, but stayed here after a row with my girlfriend found me locked out of our apartment. The service was excellent, friendly, and always addressed me by name. They upgraded me to a room with a skyline view when I asked, as well. 00 for a continental breakfast, something that I find a little obnoxious given their price of rooms.

  Doubletree Hotel Minneapolis Park is a beautiful hotel, with very nice people working there. The beds were extremely comfortable, and i loved the sweet dreams pillow so much i am seriously considering ordering one. I also liked the one cup coffeemaker, with good quality coffee. another thing I loved was the pizza that was available through room service. the only thing i did not like was the cable tv selection.

  Wonderful and friendly staff! Comfortable beds.

  If I had to pick something, pool is kinda small.

  I had lunch there and ordered a lobster roll, which was big but very salty and kind of "spendy", to use a word I picked up in Minneapolis. I spoke to hotel staff about that the next morning, and they were very apologetic and suggested I open my window for some fresh air. When they finally answered the door, the guard informed them that they need to quiet down as someone had complained about the noise.

  I was in a king room alone, with colleagues staying in other rooms in the hotel. It was a challenge getting from the hotel the the downtown area, especially the convention center as the hotel shuttle did not travel that far, and a cab ride was around $20 one way. The conference did provide bus shuttle service, but on a limited schedule. The hotel room was extremely warm the first night as it was a warm time in March and the hotel could not have both heat and A/C, and the heat was still on. I did turn the heater to fan only, but still didn't sleep well with the room at 77 degrees. The second night I followed their advice and opened the window. I went to bed around 10:30 and at around 11 I was awakened coughing.

  I'm a meeting planner so I utilize all areas of the hotel (sleeping rooms, meeting space, catering, etc. Complimentary wireless service is spotty throughout hotel. Business center offers complimentary computer usuage, printing and faxing but computers have high security settings on them so you cannot save any changes made to your documents on the desktop or anywhere else. Meeting space is nice but you can hear a lot of clanging of dishes and carts rolling around in the service hallways behind the meeting rooms. The food was very good both in the restaurant and from the catering dept.

  Shuttle service available within 5-mile radius around hotel but shuttle doesn't run on weekends so if you are here without a car, you're stuck as there is really nothing to do around the hotel.

  Location is convenient (right off the highway), staff was friendly, room was clean, beds were comfy.

  Great location - fantastic Indian restaurant behind the hotel. My only real complaint is that we were there in December and the parking lot wasn't shoveled very well.

  Upon arrival, was not impressed with lobby, very small and for the price of the room, very surprised that they CHARGE for coffee.

  I somehow managed to conect to a wireless connection ALL 4 DAYS.

  Small lobby and hotel was not well lit outside with name. But staff very friendly, organized, Maid could not understand English well when we requested more towels. Room with two beds just usual size but taken care of well and the beds were updated and exceptionally comfortable. Food served in banquet rooms has been delicious.

  A maid saw me with ice on the elevator going to the next floor and asked if the ice machine was broken.
