The location was perfect located across from the PeabodyHotel,Peabody place, the Memphis Cardinal stadium, and in walking distance from Beale Street (even for a 80 year old).

The location was perfect located across from the PeabodyHotel, the Memphis Downtown Doubletree was a pleasant and the lobby design was nice.

The location was great, close to all downtown attractions and within walking distance of Beale Street.

Ended up running out of the hotel to the airport!

This parking lot is surrounded by a six foot chain link fence with three strands of barb wire on top and is only accessed through a gate with a key code entrance.

I had a large room with two double beds and a large bathroom with bath and shower.

Major problem with our room: the strip light failed in the bathroom during the night which meant that the following morning we were unable to shower or even use the toilet with the door closed - internal bathrooms have NO natural light.

Myself & a friend shared a room which had 2 king size beds a lovely view out onto Union Ave & the Peabody Hotel, a well stocked bathroom, plenty of room for storing all the souveniers that we brought!

I stayed in a standard room and it was very comfortable, with lots of pillows on the bed.

The bathroom had a bath with the shower in it and the vanity provided plenty of room for our toiletries.

Some of the sights that we enjoyed are the Rock and Soul Museum, Beale Street, lunch at Hueys, breakfast at Bon Ton's and walking through the Peabody Hotel.

May I suggest a restaurant we ate in on 2nd Street opposite the Peabody, it is called Automatic Slims Tonga Club and try the Coconut Shrimp with Mango Sauce.

TGI Friday breakfast was very inadequate: the toast we requested had not even been started by the time we finished our meal: the response from the waitress was that there was a queue at the toaster and she couldn't get to it!

Not a big problem, we just took a cheaper rate the second time and ate breakfast elsewhere.

A TGI Friday's restaurant was accessible from inside the lobby, staff was very nice and one of the window blinds was broken.

Front desk staff is the best: friendly, professional and committed to customer service.

We were greeted warmly in every contact we had with everyone from valet personnel to front desk clerks to the cleaning staff.

I enjoyed valet parking at a reasonable price, the main lobby was spacious and the reception was large.

FACILITY - Beautiful atrium lobby with glass elevators.

What a beautiful lobby to step in to and the surroundings are all worth while.

The hotel is clean, the wi-fi is complimentary.

The wireless internet is nice if it works.

The rooms appear to have been recently renovated - they are excellent with ergonomic chairs and nice bright, clean furnishing and decorations.

Staff were friendly, the rooms were large and clean.

Large room, very clean, good internet access.

This place isn't bad, good service and the room appeared clean.

We found that the beds did not have any doona covers on them but we still found everything was clean and well maintained.
