Not a spectacular hotel, but it is a good value.

The location is somewhat UN desirable on the weekends with a lot of homeless congregating in the general vicinity.

The location connected to the Convention Center was great and you are three blocks from Central Avenue/Route 66 where there are some fun restaurants and lots of neon.

Great location just across the street from convention center.

We had a difficult time getting taxis and some of my colleagues waited an hour.

There is a courtesy shuttle from the airport, which we were unaware of and it saved us money.

The rooms are nicely appointed and decorated and the bed was very comfortable, but from 12-1 am some kids were having a party, seemingly out in the hall outside my room, with shouts and beer bottles aplenty.

My room had a stained bed cover, and the used coffee supplies of the previous visitor were still in the bathroom.

Cons: Initial room cleanliness was decent, but I did notice a couple of minor stains on the duvet cover on the second bed in my room (I had a double queen).

The room was clean and had a nice view, but the paint was peeling the furniture old, the toilet seat badly chipped.

The hotel was apparently given a freshening recently so the beds, other furniture, carpet and bathroom fixtures seemed fairly new.

The hotel has a Starbucks coffee bar; a coctail bar, and restaurant.

Nice breakfast area and a large lobby, however the breakfast options were a little poor based on other Hilton Property breakfasts.

The bar and restaurant are acceptable, but there are lots of better choices nearby.

The property has a nice bar and the breakfast was great.

Restaurant was a little slow, but the food was FABULOUS!

There was just no concern at all among the front desk staff.

Front desk staff were pleasant and efficient but made a major error to my bill.

The convention center had great internet service and we were able to access the center through an underground walkway which was convenient.

We met up with some friends to take us to the Sandia Tramway on beautiful afternoon and the nearby casinos had courtesy shuttle service.

Parts of the lobby & restaurant are torn up as well and one elevator doesn't work.

Steer clear of rooms on the second floor near the gym and pool.

But, this hotel has the worst elevator arrangements I have ever seen.

My room was spacious, comfortable, and clean.

Our north facing room was ready soon after we ate and we checked into a 13th floor king size non-smoking room which was clean.

Overall the rooms are very good, clean, and updated.

My 13th floor room had a great view of the Mountains and was spacious and clean.

I have stayed at other Doubletrees and always enjoyed the clean rooms and friendly staff but they are nowhere to be found in the Albuquerque hotel.

    My 13th floor room had a great view of the Mountains and was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and had a plethora of pillows (plethora of pinata's? The showerhead was a little low for my 6'3 head, but that is my only bathroom complaint. There was some wireless access to the Internet that I was not told about at the front desk, nor could find any documentation regarding it in the room guide. The walls seemed rather thin, and I tried to keep the AC cranking to drown out any other noise and to keep my potential snoring as quiet for other guests. One day I had an unbelievable wait for one of the 4 elevators trying to get down, but remember, this is common for convention hotels as everyone typically departs around the same time.

    My room was neat but had two burned out bulbs, a large stain on the rug, and a faulty iron. Breakfast is very good as is the Wolfgang Puck coffee service in the room.

    Unfortunately, the Doubletree (like many other service-oriented businesses) is warping the Customer Satisfaction effort by thinking it has to rate a 10 to all people at all times. The layout is such that all rooms are just a few steps from an elevator (slow) and the ding ding ding of the bells calling out each floor. No real business center (though there is a terminal/printer in the lobby for free use).

    The rooms are large and we had a nice view of the mountains from the 9th floor. This was not only a problem in our room, but others staying on differernt floors had the same problem. The bar is nice and Service was very good.

    My complaints are that the toilet flushes very slow and requires multiple flushes. We ate dinner one night in the restraunt and was very suprised at the service and Quality of the food.

    My room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Word of warning if you are attending a conference of over 1500 people: rent a car. We had a difficult time getting taxis and some of my colleagues waited an hour.

    My only complaint would be the noisy heater in the room; however, if you are going to ABQ for a convention (at the Convention Center) you should stay at the Doubletree or the Hyatt.

And when I tried to call downstairs to let them know about the lack of coffee, the phone rang and rang like 20 times and no one picked up. Meanwhile, I had a chance to visit the Hyatt around the corner and it's just lovely, from the public areas to the rooms.

    The hotel STILL undergoing lobby renovations; they must have the worst contractor in the world.

    We chose this downtown location as we figured it would be quiet during the weekend, and except for the lobby, it was quiet. The hotel is still in the midst of renovating, but the king room we had on the 14th floor was very nice. I enjoyed the Neutrogena toiletries, although the coffee maker in the room made the coffee taste terrible. The small parking lot for guests has a wierd entry drive, which was kind of a pain as we were pulling a trailer.

    We were quite pleased with the room and the fresh, warm cookies. The pool area was small (outside pool), pool itself is stainless steel, interesting. The lobby area is still being renovated, rather disorganized at best. We had to park across the street in the Wells Fargo parking lot after we returned from dinner as the parking lot was full, no doubt from the many people attending numerous wedding receptions there (annoying).

    The renovations to the rooms are very nice.

    Pool is a small, retro type thing which is all shiny steel. Major bummer, no hot-tub to sooth sore muscles after long day. The Hyatt initially looks nicer, but I've hear bad things about the staff there.
