Doubletree Guest Suites Minneapolis - Mineápolis

We found this hotel to be in the ideal location for exploring Downtown Minneapolis.

The hotel has a good location downtown, near all the shopping and restaurants.

It was in a great location too: easy to find from the freeway.

Only a couple of blocks walk from the light rail station from airport.

We walked everywhere and did everything, took a cab to the mall of america for 22buck.

I got a suite - living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette for the same price as some double rooms.

We booked a jet-tub , king bed suite, which was very nice.

The rooms were a decent size with your typical suite layout, with the bathroom in between the bedroom and living area.

The room is divided into two sections, a large bedroom with a TV and two double beds and a sitting room with another TV and a sofa and chair.

Everywhere was clean, the bed was comfortable and there was an extra TV in the bedroom.

Although I only had breakfast in the first floor restaurant, the food was good, and service prompt and polite.

The hotel restaurant had good food, but was quite expensive, and was rather understaffed (hence slow) the morning we had breakfast there.

You get breakfast coupons for a full breakfast in the restaurant.

They are a little better at breakfast but with so few people in the restaurant, they should do better.

We were steps away from Nicolet Mall, where there are numerous shops, restaurants, bars and the greatest Target store ever.

Only negative comment I would make is that I did not see a concierge, and the front desk people seemed kind of ignorant when I had questions on how to get to several museums.

We were on a group tour so we did not need this service but strangely, I did not see any staff helping guests to their rooms the entire 5 days we spent there.

The customer service at this hotel has been excellent.

We were very pleased with the easy access (secure) parking, the friendliness of the desk staff, and the yummy warm cookies we were given upon check-in.

Old rooms,old elevator,shabby lobby and even worse restaurant.

I knew the hotel from when I lived in MPLS a few years ago: it is well-situated for downtown, has convenient parking and is close to freeways.

This hotel was close to EVERYTHING and the indoor parking was a blessing!

The room was clean, comfortable, and far larger that I would have expected.

The rooms are in good condition, and clean.

The service was at the Doubletree was always friendly, the rooms were always clean and well equipped.
