Doubletree Guest Suites Charleston-Historic District - 查尔斯顿

The location is perfect and this hotel is centrally located in the historic area of Charleston.

Fantastic location right in the heart of Historic Charleston, the hotel is really well located.

The Charleston Doubletree Guest Suites definately is in a great location, the hotel is located in the heart of the Historic district.

On the day we left the airport, we asked that they call us a cab.

Charleston is really a city best seen on foot, so if you don't want to pay $16 a day for valet parking, skip the car.

The suite itself was perfect for my husband and 2 children, it had a bedroom with a king bed and a separate living room with a pull-out sofa bed for the kids.

No problem switching one of our rooms from a king bed (single-level suite) to a double suite with two levels - sitting downstairs, beds upstairs.

TV in each room & the couch pulled out to a bed, so we could still lie to in bed to watch TV, while our son was sleeping in the bedroom.

The beds, sadly, do not feature down comforters or relatively high thread count linens; however, the bed is comfortable and, you guessed, a well-designed piece of furniture.

The room was actually on two floors, with the king bed and very, very small bathroom upstairs, the pull-out sofa downstairs.

The rooms were nice and the beds comfortable, but the restaurant only served breakfast (no lunch or dinner).

In a city like Charleston, which has sooooo many wonderful restaurants, it is NOT a good idea for a restaurant affiliated with a Hilton or other hotel chain to NOT award points for meals.

There is a restaurant that provideds a good breakfast in the morning.

The valets and bell service staff were very helpful and the restaurant staff at breakfast were extremely upbeat and friendly.

Also a very good place to eat and not as well known as some restaurants is Fulton Five on Fulton Street, off of King Street.

Staff were great and the concierge was always helpful.

The Lobby is nice and staff service is friendly.

The hotel must not have a service elevator (or it was out of service), as the cleaning equipment rides with you in the elevators.

Valet parking is organized and expeditious (at all times of the day).

The only area needing improvement is the "fitness center".

Non-wireless high speed is available at no charge.

Wireless Internet access is available on a "per stay" fee (not a daily charge).

This stay was okay; the rooms were clean and well appointed.

The suite was clean, the breakfast buffet was very good.

Staff was excellent, rooms were clean and attractive, a pool would be nice as was very hot.

The staff was friendly and responsive and the room(s) were clean, comfortable and quiet.

The rooms were also fairly dark but very clean.
