We did not feel the price was justified for the overall quality with so many other "fair" hotels in the area for the same or less money.
Wonderful pool area, quiet hotel and a reasonable price you're on a non-inclusive rate.
These reviews made me worry that I had landed a one star hotel for two and a half star prices.
A very convenient location, nice clean hotel and price was great.
This hotel is in a great location, very close to all of San Diego's attractions.
It is a little noisy due to the freeway nearby, but didn't bother us to change our minds about the great location of the hotel.

The Double Tree Club hotel was pefectly located for all the kid places (Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Legoland, SeaWorld) and the airport.
The fold out sofa bed needed to be replaced since there were holes in the upholstery but the beds in the adjoining room were very comfortable.
The suite set up was odd but it served its purpose since the lviing room was private with an extra sofa bed.
One side contained two beds, the other a hide-a-bed and second television.
The highlights were the comfortable bed, the great view of the harbor, and the pool/hot tub area on the fifth floor!
It had a King bed with very soft pillows and a seperate living room with the balcony.
Room was clean and attractive, the jacuzzi was extremely hot, the restaurant was fine for breakfast -- a nice all-you-can-eat for $9.
The service was outstanding from check in to my meals in the restaurant to check out.
I had breakfast daily in the hotel and thought the food was great and a good value.
The negatives: The restaurant was being renovated so we were informed (via a note in the elevator) that there was no food available on site.

Well, one of the televisions did not work, I could not connect to the wireless internet, and the cord for the internet was not long enough to reach any surface other than the couch.
The room was clean, spacious, quiet (it was even facing the freeway), and had great views.
