Doubletree By Hilton Hotel Washington Dc - 华盛顿哥伦比亚

The location of the Doubletree is great - you're near Dupont, Logan Circle, and U Street and not too far from the downtown area either.

Overall, I recommend this hotel for its location, nice decor, and convenience.

The location was ideal, only about 2 blocks to great restauants/bars on Logan and Dupont Circles (go to the Logan Tavern for brunch and enjoy their Bloody Mary menu!

The nearest subway stations are also that same distance away so making a quick trip back to the room was a little difficult.

Location is good and not far from subway station and other attractions.

The suite was absolutely beautiful, the bed comfortable, the bathroom gorgeous, the towels and sheets high quality and everything was spotless.

Bed was extremely comfortable (definitely comparable to the heavenly beds @ W hotel) - although I have to agree with past traveller's reviews that the bathroom is extremely extremely small compared to other hotels.

The room had been updated with modern fixtures, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was very small, but clean.

Her room -- with one Queen sized bed was very small, but the bathroom was bigger than ours!

The rooms are small, but the furnishings are nicely updated (CD player/alarm clock; marble in the bathroom; Bath and Body Works soap/shampoo/lotion; plush towels) and the bedding is comfortable.

The food was good but expensive & there are so many great restaurants within walking distance, with the notable exception of anything other than buffet-type places for breakfast.

I had breakfast in the restaurant and had room service twice - the food was decent and reasonably priced for DC, and service was quite good.

The attitude seems to be that since the restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, why leave?

The hotel bar seemed small and not really that inviting and to be honest we tried to find a restaurant within a couple of blocks but didn't.

We wondered if people in Washington ever sit down in a nice non-hotel restaurant for breakfast & then realized there weren't any places for them to do that!

To be fair, I must say that I found the staff to be generally excellent - the room service, the front desk, the housekeepers, and my midnight mouse catcher.

With the issues presented at this point, I was too tired to call these details to the attention of the front desk/management staff to request a more prepared/clean room!

The front desk staff was absolutely amazing.

It doesn't have a pool, but does have a fitness center.

The lobby was contemporary but also elegant.

The lobby was decorated with a Xmas tree and I checked in extremely late since my flight was delayed (close to 1am).

There is wireless internet provided for a fee of $13/day.

The beds were clean, the pillows fresh and fluffy.

In addition, I did notice that there were remaining hairs and some mold in areas around the shower/tub grout areas although the sink area was relatively clean.

I stayed at the DoubleTree for 4 nights and found the staff to be helpful and the rooms clean, above average, with many amenities.

I had to locate another staff person on our floor who eventually provided an ashtray from another room (which he had to clean before handing it over to me).

The room was large, clean and quiet even though we were on the front, street side of the hotel.
