Dooleys City Hotel Waterford

The location couldn't be better for the centre of Waterford, dooleys Hotel is well worth a stay in and the staff are really friendly.

Great location, very good value and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

An excellent location over looking the Quay and very comfortable stay.

Dooley's is ideally located if you wanna get about Waterford City on foot.

It is right on the river 2 mins from the train sation, the bus stops outside & it is a 5 minute walk to the town centre.

Our room at Dooley's was perfectly comfortable, as was the clean bath, though the beds were rather austere and lumpy.

The room was really spacious with a double and a single bed, there was good storgage space and even a place to dress.

When asked if we minded if we were moved to a smoking room we thought sure why not, aren't all rooms going to be the same size - apparently not.

The room was extra large with a large walk in closet with shelves and extra large bathroom.

The bed linen was divine, white duvets with fluffy blankets complete the decor.

Good breakfast is included in room rate and food in the restaurant is very nice.

The bar staff arranged food for us even the kitchen was closing, breakfast was great and the waitresses were friendly.

The bar and restaurant food was delicious and the choice on the menus was terrific.

The restaurant dinner was very good and our continental breakfast in the hotel dining room was quite good too.

The Gunness in the bar tasted great, good breakfast.

Once again the service was spot on, the staff always there with a smile and willing to help with any special requests, as I am a particularly fussy eater this was a great help.
