A reasonable hotel if you don't plan to eat there but I would look elsewhere considering the prices charged.
The hotel is not in Pamplona but about 4 miles from the city center with convenient public transportation- taxis-buses, and quite close to the airport.
The rooms in this hotel are nice and clean, and the accommodation staff are friendly.
In addition comfortable beds, pleasant garden to sit out in.
There is, also, a very nice restaurant where you can enjoy really nice meals.
However the staff in the restaurant were very unfriendly and the food is overpriced A request to have a €25 steak cooked for a little longer resulted in eyes being thrown to the heavens and plates pulled out of our hands.
Furthermore restaurant had good value set menu in evening.
The food was abig let down, we were charged €24 for a bad steak with no salad or fries.
Furthermore good value menu del dia available at dinner.
However, the service from the hotel staff was very poor, they always seemed crumpy.
The hotel is surrounded by very nice gardens and the staff and the owners, a family, are always around to help you, especially Antxón, the eldest son.

Strategic position in the heart of Navarra, from the warm welcome to an all round happy stay and clean and comfortable the staff were frendly and helpfull.

We used the hotel as an overnight stop on the way to southern Spain, friendly helpful staff and the room very clean.
I stayed in Don Carlos during San Fermin 2006, on the good side the garden's were very nice and the room very clean and nice size.
