Disneyland Hotel

As far as location and proximity to the parks, it really doesn’t matter which tower you are in!

In all fab, location, themed pool good but busy, restaurants excellent, room Ok- but this is disney, who does anything more than pass out with exaustion in their room at midnight and get up at 7 the next moring ready for the next day!

The location is fantastic - just a short walk to the Monorail which takes you straight to Tomorrowland, or about a 10 minute walk to the main gate of Disneyland or California Adventure.

It takes 30-40 minutes ( depends on traffic) to reach the nearest metro station.

I have been waiting to write this review since I stepped foot in the hotel.

My husband and I had a big suite with a living room with a couch, two chairs, tv, small kitchen area with a fridge, coffee maker, small sink and 1/2 bath, then the bedroom of the suite had a king size bed, tv and full bath.

2 bedrooms each with 2 queen beds and a queen sofa bed in the living room.

In the bedroom itself, there were 2 Queen beds, armoire with drawers and TV, 2 night tables, floor lamps, bed lamps and lounging chair next to the balcony.

The rooms look a bit dated, but the 'disneyness' of them was charming, and the king bed was huge and also had rollaway, there was still plenty of room to lay out cases etc.

Our large room with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed was in the Sierra tower overlooking Downtown Disney.

The food on property was also great, we ate at the coffee shop in morn, Granview one evening and even the poolside bar.

Breakfast with Minnie in the park on mainstreet is a good character breakfast, we did 4 character breakfasts this trip and Minnie's in the park is where we saw the most characters.

Granville restaurant was very nice for breakfast, quiet and never full, all the families with kids were at Goofy's kitchen.

On our last day we decided to go to their restaurant for breakfast.

We ate several times at the more casual restaurant downstairs which was great however too much food!

Watched fireworks from the Concierge Lounge - nice view, overall hotel are just awesome and exceptional service at the front desk.

So we left feeling good but overall very frustrated at the attitude of the staff in the hotel who could not care less we had paid top dollarfor a concierge room facing Downtown nor recognising we might sometimes want service!

We walked around the lobby and the pool area and it looked very inviting and clean.

The advantage of this tower is the beauty of the waterfall and a less high traffic lobby/ elevators.

Beautiful and fun pool area, excellent service by hotel employees, from the relaxed ambience of the lobby.

As a business owner, I was especially impressed by the high speed Internet included at no extra charge!

The daily resort fee includes high speed internet which was nice for my husband to keep in touch with his office.

We stayed in the Marina tower and our room was clean and cute.

The rooms are very clean and the staff keeps them well stocked with soap ect.

Our room was clean everyday upon our return.

The rooms were very spacious, to our surprise, and very clean.

Our room was very clean & the room service was excellent.
