From the G. Marconi airport in Bologna follow the instructions to arrive in Ravenna. Through Via Faentina go until Via Maggiore. Follow 300 mts until Via Camilo Cavour and 300 mts more until Via Salara. Turn on the right in Via Petro Alighieri. The hotel is situated 100 mts away.

I agree with the favourable comments others have made about the staff, the food and the location.

The location was great for anyone traveling on bus or train.

Also all Rome sites were 10 minutes away or less and under $10 Euro's of taxi fairs.

The furniture may have been a little old fashioned - heavy brown, but the bed was really comfortable, without being soft and soggy.

The room was clean and quiet and included tv, A/C, and private bath.

The bathroom had a power shower, but not a bath - no problem.

The bathroom was spacious, had a shower/bath that didn't leak all over the floor and also came with a basket full of amenities.

I stayed in a standard room which was well equipped including an ultra modern flat screen TV.

The breakfasts were wonderful and the morning coffee to die for.

The staff were effecient and friendly and the breakfast was quite adequate.

The staff was friendly and the rate included a nice breakfast (served downstairs 0700-1000).

The breakfast was also a full spread with meats, fruit, cereal.

The front desk people were not as accommodating as the staff at my hotel in Sorrento.

Travelling on one's own can be a little daunting at times, but the friendly, cheerful and very helpful staff at Hotel Diana in Ravenna are superb and just what one needs.

It also had an arrangement with a local garage for parking which was very useful in this complicated and far from traffic free city centre.

Parking is made a little easier by a covered garage and large open parking lot both within one block.

The lobby area was very open, light and clean.

It is small, clean and the rooms were well appointed.

Some of the rooms we peered into seemed quite small, but ours was a good size, as well as being clean and well-appointed.

Location excellent for cultural sites, ravenna is a small town and fair sized room. Breakfast is superb.

Good location for tourism and a little difficult to locate by car since is situated on a very narrow street.

The hotel is a short 4/5 minutes walk to the town center, companion in othe room didn't have the same problem.

Good location in the center of the city and this was a wonderful hotel to stay at to see the historic centre. Staff were helpful and our room had a nice balcony. Friendly and the breakfast was quite adequate.

Great location and secure parking was right next door so this made our stay easier. Price was good, the staff were very helpful and our room was large. The breakfasts were wonderful.

Excellent location and this hotel was no worse than any other in this respect. Staff was friendly and the employees were all very helpful. The bathroom was spacious, the breakfast was probably the best part of our experience.

Good location and i picked the 2nd from the best category of hotel. Courteous and helpful service, spacious room, there was a huge selection of items in the buffet.

Perfect location in the city center, the price was a very reasonable 57 euros per day - very good value and the staff were very helpful. Furthermore the room was large, the rate included a nice breakfast.

Max 10 minutes to all the amazing historical sites in town and at Hotel Diana we liked the location was so close to all of the major attractions. Furthermore the staff were very friendly and helpful, clean and the rooms were well appointed. Breakfast was fresh and varied.
