Spacious and Comfortable Rooms: The twin/double room at this charming hotel was a breath of fresh air. With its air conditioning, marble floors, and flat-screen TV, it felt like a luxurious retreat. And let's not forget the coffee machine - it was like having a personal barista in the room!

Noisy Environment: Unfortunately, the noise levels at times were a bit bothersome. Doors slamming, chatty guests, and even snoring from the neighboring room could be heard.

The room was well-appointed with a big bathroom, shower, sofa, and smoke detectors for safety. The hotel's location is very convenient, close to the old town, Florence, Pisa, and the charming hilltop towns of Tuscany.- Guests can enjoy a visit to Bar Astra for tea or coffee, which is located nearby.

I loved being in the heart of the historic center, surrounded by culture and entertainment. The staff at Albergo San Martino were so helpful and young, I felt like I was in a trendy hipster hotel. And the free Wi-Fi was a lifesaver!

The only downside was having to deal with the agony of deciding which cultural attraction to visit first. Such a burden!

Location & cleanliness. It is a good standard for a 2 star hotel. Bathroom is new and room was clean. It is in a nice quiet, yet central part of Lucca, and a short walk from the wall.

The room was comfortable and the air conditioning invaluable during the record breaking hot weather which was being experienced in Italy. The location cannot be faulted. We were in the annex which is just around the corner from the Duomo, and very close to several restaurants and the bar where we had breakfast both days.

The Reception staff only speak Italian. I am sure this can be a problem for some visitors.

As women traveling alone, we appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, spacious rooms, and delicious breakfast with gluten-free options. The location was excellent and within walking distance of major squares and the train station.

Staff were unpleasant and unhelpful to the point of being rude.

The hotel was high quality and clean, overlooked street. The personnel were really helpful and competent and gave us loads of advice. We got a nicely decorated room with a nice looking bathroom.

Great quality accommodation with perfect setting just next door to the center of the shower, the southern ramparts and railway station, and the railway.

The hotel had a very central location, so close to a cathedral and city walls. Distance to the airport was just 25 km. The staff were pleasant and affable, nothing too much trouble. The room I stayed in was immaculately clean and budget and complete with shower, a shared bath, as for instance.

Everything is what i need and want.

had a wonderful time in lucca, and our stay at this small and cozy hotel made it even better. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. the room was spacious, clean, and had a lovely updated bathroom.
