The location was superb and we found the hotel good value for money compared.
A big mistake, particularly as it stops on the Bryggen just by the street to the hotel and would have cost?
In sum, it is a small hotel with potential, but it is just off a bit; I don't think they have their act together yet (the hotel was opened in 2006).
An ideal location close to the harbourfront and a popular cable car attraction.
The location next to the fish Market was very central, the individuality of the rooms was a pleasant change from the corporate hotel chains and the free internet was easy to use.
The location of this hotel couldn't be better - less than a minute from the Torget, a few minutes stroll from Bryggen Hanseatic Wharf and right in the centre of town.
He must have been the only non-Norwegian non-English speaking taxi driver at the airport and we got him.
Then they woke us up with a call at 6:00 AM asking if a taxi waiting was for us (it wasn't) and saying that they did the bill incorrectly and we'd have to redo it.
We got a suit which was quite big, had 2 TVs, large bed, 2 comfortable chairs, plenty of storage, big bathroom with bath, walk in shower, 2 sinks and the toilet was separate again.
Our room was very nice (we stayed at Junior suite), with really great big bathroom and bathtub.
The bed was very comfy, and the decor, fittings, bed linens and everything in the room was really high quality, and very impressive.
To give a sense, the room was just wide enough to fit the queen bed I had with just enough room for a chair and tiny end table next to it.
Our room (#36) was comfy, with a flat screen TV and fancy bathroom.
The room was small and the continental breakfast buffet offered a very nice choice of fresh food.
I did not eat at the Hotel Restuaruant but their bar was nice.
Breakfast was great too, with nice selection of food.
We would not recommend the gourmet restaurant attached to the hotel as it was overpriced for pretty ordinary food.
The bannisters on the stairways outside the hotel part which lead to the restaurants were sticky and all needed a clean.
Excellent service from the staff, maids very kind and helpful, beds very comfortable many extra pillows.
We found the front desk staff to be very helpful and tolerant of our stupid questions.
Young, college-student types as opposed to "typical" hotel front desk staff.
With the exception of one staff member, on our first morning, who seemed reluctant the keep the items serviced, every other day it was dealt with very well.
Probably the most charming hotel in Bergen and good service.
Interesting building carefully adapted, we liked very much the inside decoration and the staff were all very helpful.

Hotel had great character and rooms were very clean.
Location in the Bryggen area is very good, even the hotel is very historical building located in Bergen Centre and the room is clean.
