The location is excellent and there are good hotels nearby.

I highly recommend this place because of its location and value, but most importantly because of its efficient and attentive staff.

Getting a taxi is no problem there, and getting around is easy, as the location is excellent.

The location is good but sort of a compromise.

Love Buenos Aires, but Design hotel is neither the hotel or location if your under 50.

We had a king sized bed with TV and the ability to partition it off as a separate bedroom, and the living room area of the suite had two couches that were like daybeds.

The bathroom was spacious and well-equipped with shampoos/soaps/lotions and there was a good sized sink, bidet, and tub to shower.

Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in the bathroom and the room next door.

The lobby is smart looking but some of the rooms are getting a bit scruffy and bathrooms are tiny.

It feels like your bed is situated in the middle of the lobby.

The bar/cafe on the ground floor is woeful the breakfast was crap - only crossiaint and crap nescafe coffee.

We ate out at all the finest restaurants for next to nothing because Argentina is such a bargain.

The only meal we had at the hotel was breakfast, served downstairs in the main lobby area.

I decided to skip the meager breakfast after the first day because it is just unbearable to eat amongst the unfriendly staff.

No hot breakfast availible but Argentinians dont eat big breakfast anyway.

Let me tell you that the staff at the reception desk , housekeeping and restaurant was very friendly.

The staff was pretty impersonal -- the front desk is run by awkward guys who were not very warm or receptive but they did give the hotel a modern feel.

The reception staff are impersonal and downright rude.

I must mention Brian, the front desk manager who administered our reservation and who was on duty during our weekend stay, and also Umberto (not certain of the spelling of his name).

The outstanding service of the staff made it an absolute pleasure to stay in the hotel - nothing was to much trouble and given the numerous flight issues we had we needed a lot of help.

The room service was excellent - fast - but with basic food and we found the staff quite pleasant and helpful.

As we passed the check-in burocracy, we found out that the wonderful design swimming pool that we saw at the website was a tank, with some balls in it, placed between the front desk and the elevators.
