The most important aspect for us was location location location.
As my main aim in going to Naples was to buy a Nativity set, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect location, as this hotel was a 5 min walk from San Gregorio Armeno.
Even if it’s got a central location, the noise coming from the street is barely heard, only the loudest honking or screeching reached my ear.
They all spoke English, and went out on a limb to give us directions / order taxis etc.
Also 15 mins walk from the Centrale train station.
We didn’t find any significant fault to the room, the bathroom, the staff and other practical details of hotel-staying.
We were even given the option of changing our booking to a cheaper, 4 person room if we wanted.
Our young children were welcome, and we were given adjacent rooms.
We stayed for two nights in a double room.
Breakfast (though not abundant) was provided in our room price.
The staff is helpull and friendly and there is a small hotel bar/breakfast room where you can get a drink or some snack in the evening and breakfast in the morning.
Also, the breakfast was a bit too modest, which my husband found especially annoying, but it’s ok if you’re used to eating light.
We also found some excellent restaurants and pizzerias in the side streets.
We went for late walks on this Via Domo and it was perfectly safe, always circulated, clearly lighted, with plenty of shops and cafes and things like that.
Good recommendation from reception staff regarding restaurants too.
The staff at the hotel could not have been friendlier.
Great art nouveau lift (20 cents a journey).
Our rooms were spacious for Naples standards and impeccably clean.
