The drink special on Friday night was a pint of a micro-brew lager for under $5, which is a really good price for a hotel bar.

We were very pleased when we walked into our corner room which had plenty of windows and two distinct rooms for living room and bed room.

We ate two dinners in Spencer's Lounge and one breakfast in the restaurant, Manhattan.

THE BAR has great natural light during the day and free breakfast til 10:30am.

We tried the hotel restaurant only for the breakfast buffet, which was standard by offerings and price.

The presentation of the hotel is great - the lobby is very open and looks modern, the breakfast and restaurant area is pleasant, with windows overlooking the street.

Sunday breakfast at Manhattan restaurant was poor -- kitchen understaffed, waffle undercooked, and service was poor, though they gladly replaced without charge items mentioned.

We went to the spa for a couple hours, which was fine, good pool, hot tub, sauna and showers.

The indoor pool was adequate and my husband liked the sauna and whrlpool.

The hotel also has a nice indoor pool, whirlpool, and sauna, with locker rooms, showers, and an adjoining rooftop deck for sunbathing.

The service was excellent and the room was very clean.

Great price, excellent service and clean and modern rooms that have a nice layout.

Spotless room and the staff were very friendly.

Room especially was crip clean and amazingly comfortable, like sleeping in clouds.

    Panoramic city views, the taxi driver was a cool dude as well and the hotel was very comfortable. Instead of home fries they gave you a big fruit salad, the price I found reasonable and the front desk staff were very helpful at all times. The room was really lovely and the food was good. The receptionists were very pleasant and the service was excellent from check-in to check-out.

    Using Vancouver's superb bus system, the historic Gastown district and we discovered two new excellent restaurants nearby. Additionally good location in downtown and quality comfy beds. The price was reasonable and the staff was exceptionally helpfull.

    The hotel staff were incredibly helpful.

    The parking garage they use closes at 10PM. But it wasn't important as you have in/out all day service with valet parking.

    From the moment I arrived the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. The hotel was spotlessly cleaned and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I greatly enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
