Overview

The three-star Delta Hotel is a comfortable and recently renovated stay in the lively city center of Amsterdam. It benefits from its location in the heart of the dense web of transportation which, in turn, allows the guests to have full control over their itineraries. It is not that transportation is needed that much - there are a lot of things to explore near the hotel itself.

If you are a person of reason and practicality, if you value personal privacy and comfort but want to spare your money on excessive indulgence in luxury - Hotel Delta is cut out for you. It might not have all the facilities that allow to avoid leaving the hotel and pamper you in every way conceivable, but it sure has services nearby, such as a fitness center, where the guests get a discount, so it is up to you whether to use them or not.

Clean sheets and lock on the door was all i needed, toilet were spotless, and the breakfast facility was superb.
Staff were nice and friendly, on our arrival the receptionists were very polite helpful, the 6 bed room was very large.
The staff were excellent and bedding was v clean.

Getting there

Hotel Delta can be reached from the Schiphol Airport in 25 minutes either by taxi or car.

By public transport, you can easily get to the hotel by taking high-speed Fyra train right at the Airport, which goes towards the Central Station. From there walk back for about five minutes (400m) until you see the hotel. Alternatively, you can take one of Intercity trains which get you to the Central Station in 15-17 minutes.

Getting around

There is a parking lot within a two-minute walk; the guests can get a 15-percent discount, courtesy of Hotel Delta.

The Central station, the most important transportation hub, is 400m north-east of the hotel. You cat get train to the Schiphol Airport from it. It is served by trams number one, two, five, 13, 17 and metro lines number 51, 53 and 54.

In general, the hotel is surrounded by bus, train and tram stops within the distance of 700m, which get you to any place in the city in no time.

Location is very good and taxis are reasonable also. Travelled to Amsterdam for a lads weekend away and another 5 minutes in the opposite direction to Dam Square. Rooms are clean and is in an idea llocation, breakfast ok and staff are friendly.
