Deauville Beach Resort Miami Beach - 迈阿密海滩

The Hotel is located in the north beach area at 67th street and Collins Avenue which is a great location if you don't want to stay in South Beach due the NOISE.

It was located in a choice location where we didn't have to spend lots of money on hotel food.

My wife booked this hotel based on price and location close to the beach.

It was plenty easy getting around the city by bus (very cheap) or by taxi.

The J bus will take you directly to and from the airport for $1.

After reading some of the reviews I was scared to death, I was expecting a dirty room, bed bugs, and flity toilet and unpolite staffs.

My wife found a finger/toe nail on the carpet which made us believe they do not vacuum the rooms (or least not very well), but the bath room looked clean and the beds looked like the sheets were changed (one never knows for sure!

On arrival at 2:30 PM they CLEARLY mentioned that they don’t give beach-room to Booked.net customers also they denied my request for one King size bed and give me a really bad room with 2 beds.

We specifically requested a king size bed in our room and once we walked in, we found two double beds.

King bed with all new furniture and renovated bathroom.

The food was also very good, and besides the fancy restaurant in the hotel we had the choices of the little booth at the front and ther many restaurants in the surrounding areas.

No complimentary breakfast and there is no much choice of restaurants/cafés in that residential area.

On the morning of the 19th after waiting unsuccessfully for over a half hour for our car we walked to a local restaurant for breakfast.

The Tiki Bar was the best for my friends and I, we ordered lunch from them almost everyday, just because of the convenience of eating near the pool.

FOOD: We went to eat at this Cuban restaurant on Collins Ave a couple blocks up from Deauville.

The hotel is in serious need of upgrades with their equipment (Broken Ice Machines, warm A/C units, Bad reception Television sets, ripped/Torn wall paper, running toilets), and the service from the front desk staff, was out right disgraceful.

If you like the feel of a friendly staff, good breakfast to start out the day, easy access to the beach, great vallet service, and very efficient front desk this is the place for you.

Bugs in the rooms, mold in the showers, elevators that don’t work, cigarette butts everywhere, in the hallways, on the lobby floor, in the elevator.

The lobby is astonishing, housekeeping staff tried to make friendly interactions and the pool is very well kept up.

The pool and jacuzzi were both very clean and enjoyable!

I loved the walk-in closet and wireless internet was really handy.

Hotel charges $10,(a form you sign) for wireless internet which I find deplorable.

The bathroom was clean and was of average size.

The rooms were large, clean, updated, and with a great view.

Our room (7th floor) was clean having some minor paint/carpet wear to be expected in a beach resort.

My room was very clean, unlike other hotels I've stayed at.

The service was courteous and the only thing about the room was clean sheets.
