The breakfast provided by the hotel was excellent and they even accommodated for our early wake-up call. We were able to enjoy the delicious meal at 5am, two hours earlier than their normal time. the matrimonial rooms were elegant and the beds were super comfortable. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed our brief stay.

The location is absolutely awful if you don't have a car. The taxi ride to the airport or Asuncion is terribly expensive and it's the only transportation option.

Peaceful location overlooking Rio Paraguay, convenient for river ferry crossing to Clorinda, Argentina, a pleasant breezy 30 minute crossing for just 5 pesos. Big room, balcony, good wifi, fridge, workdesk. Good value at $64, larger superior rooms by pool for $74 would be good in summer.

Poor restaurant food, unless you like frozen veggies. They only had one wine available but they let me bring my own. Except for the semi-deserted and very optimistically rated "5-star" Golf Y Yacht Club, there is nothing to see or do in area. Last time I was here 4 years ago there was a large casino with its own restaurant but this closed about 2 years ago. No English-laguage TV news. Balcony has no table or chairs. Hot water tank is only 40 litres with a small (1500 watts) heater, so unless you shower quickly your partner will need to wait about an hour to heat up again. Breakfast very limited although did have scrambled eggs, but these will probably be cold unless you arrive early.

The location of this hotel is quite good. , the matrimonial rooms are comfortable and cozy, offering comfortable bedding and elegant decor. As for the breakfast, I have to admit that it was fabulous; they went out of their way to have breakfast prepared for us at 5am, which was 2 hours earlier than the normal time.

Over the Christmas season, my family and I had a wonderful experience at the hotel we stayed in. The staff was amazing, they went above and beyond to prepare breakfast for us very early in the morning, which made us feel warm and welcome. the beds were super comfortable and we had a great time sleeping after a long day of activities. The location of the hotel was also perfect, close to various tourist attraction sites, and the property was beautiful and cozy.

We had a little trouble getting checked in when we first arrived, the night desk person seemed to have trouble finding our reservation and couldn't locate all the rooms quickly. We ended up hiking with our luggage up some floors only to haul things down again, which was quite tiring.

The location of this hotel was perfect, and we could easily move around the city from here.
