  I was driving through during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and was trying desperately to find a hotel with ANY room available for the night. As a last ditch effort I tried to call this hotel. I had to dial their number at least three times just to get them on the phone without hanging up right away. I was generous and chalked it up to technical issues and tried to get ahold of them once more. When the clerk answered the phone he was very curt and sounded like he had better things to do than work. I asked if they had any sort of room for 1 night. He simply replied "yes" and hung up. When I got there I found that there were no rooms to be had in the hotel and the clerk I had talked to on the phone not 10 minutes before seemed to have no recollection of the conversation. I ended up having to drive to the next town because the clerk didn't seem to want my business.
