  I know it is right on the M1, but we were allocated a back room and even with the window opened we had no noise issues. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful, and there was snacks, drinks and even ice cream available. Reception had a couple of sofas and soft chairs and a big TV if you were desperate to get out of your room. The room and bathroom were very clean and the TV had lots of channels inc Sky Sports. 00 directly thru the hotel site (for a bank holiday Sunday night) and this proved fantastic value for money. We used this location as we were attending a footie game in Sheffield, but also easily had a trip to the Peak Dstrict as access is really easy from here.

  The price was excellent value, only £42 in total for the 2 of us which included a continental breakfast. Rooms are similar to your typical travelodge but a good feature of this room was the larger than average (for a hotel) TV and the inclusion of sky sports. However I guess this depends on what side of the hotel the room was situated. 2) Although the room was clean, there was a funny stain on the sofa in the bedroom which was a bit off putting. 2) Staff friendly (didn't grumble when I asked for more coffee for the bedroom). 3) Room features good, such as sky tv, plenty of tea/coffee (and shortbread biscuit) and towels. 4) Only a 30 second walk to the petrol station if you want to grab a paper.

  3) The shower was red hot and I struggled to find a way to get the temperature below "hoo haa" heat.

  Rooms are clean and well equiped. Friendly staff and cheap rooms!

  At the main service area there is a McDonalds KFC and sandwich bars.

  Rooms are a good standard and well equipped. Four people room for 45 Pounds is a good deal.

  Reception staff were friendly and chatty. The room was large enough, very clean and functional. No view from the window but I also couln't hear the M1 motorway. I was in an "executive" room which in addition to the standard free newspaper fruit and coffee from the clix machine gave you a fridge with a complimentary bottle of water and a nutrigrain bar. Clean modern bathroom with a powerful shower, large towels and plenty of hot water. If you forget any toiletries they will supply the basics for free at the 24 hour reception.

• We were welcomed by name when we arrived,shown into a nice bright and airy room and made to feel very welcome,even our dogs were shown great welcome(may be it was them not us really! We had a good nights sleep quiet although the M1 was rumbling almost past the windows.
