Do not even pay the money for this hotel it was not worth it and ruin my vaction.
For one or two nights, where you are really spending most of the day away from the hotel and only need it to sleep and have a shower, I would stay here again - mainly because of the price.
Be leary, in Virginia you have to pay a City Tax, State Tax, and Norfolk Lodging Tax with your hotel bill.
The room was large (king bed), clean but basic.
Turning over or flipping from head to toe or cross wise the bed was to no avail.
I had called up and booked 3 non-smoking rooms for the 4th July weekend (2 nights) but when we got there they said that they had us down only for one room and that there must have been some kind of misunderstanding.
The bathroom in your room is very small, cramped and dirty (moldy tiling).
The rooms were nasty and the air conditioner did not work.
The breakfast was great and had expanded from my last visit.
Free Breakfast consists of Coffee and the pool was enjoyable.
There was no continental breakfast, as stated on the website.
Free Breakfast consists of Coffee, Apple Juice, OJ, packaged muffins, bread-slices, apples, bananas, and 2 kinds of cereal.
Found myself walking down the block to the McDonald's for a decent Breakfast.
The front desk staff was not friendly, however he was not rude, so that is tolerable.
The hotel staff was very polite and helpful.
I reccomend this hotel to everyone because its great and the house-keeping staff is very friendly.

The pool was enjoyable with the gym right next to it.
The pool was open, and we did enjoy ourselves.
While we were there the Free Gym they rave about was closed.
Upon chec-in which took no more than five minutes, we went to out room and the room was very clean and smlled great.
I asked them not to clean my room and they still went in and things were stolen.
Everything appearred clean and the bathroom was fine.
