  When I made the reservations, I was assured that the queen fold-out couch was comfortable and of a better (commercial) quality than those found in the average home.

  The management did try to fix the problem by letting us move rooms to try another couch, but the quality was the same. We told the staff on several more occaisions that the couch was very uncomfortable and asked if it was possible to have another queen bed brought into the room to replace the couch, but were told that it was not possible. One hotel employee replied laughingly, that other people had slept on these couches for extended periods (months) without complaint. The pool was very cool and on one day there was a banquet buffet table set up in the hallway outside the pool area. There was no way of avoiding this area when exiting the pool area, and had to squeeze by the buffet table and the guests. This was uncomfortable for hotel guests using the pool and for the formally dressed banquet attendees.

  The room we were in was already booked that night but the hotel staff were very accommodating in getting us another suite right across the hall. They also let us stay in our current room until the suite across the hall was ready even though check out time had come and gone. We were fortunate that the suite we were in was available so we didn't have to move again. We would definitely recommend staying in the suites at this hotel.

  Laundry room had a broken dryer but the hotel staff checked with the hotel across the street (same owner) and they had machines available so we were able to go there and do laundry.

  When we arrived we literally had to remake the bed, it looked as though it had already been slept in. I did mention this to the front desk the next morning and when we arrived back at the hotel in the evening we had to remake the bed again. Also the bed was in terrible condition, it sagged in the middle, I don't think this should happen when a hotel is only 2 years old. The one review about no water is pretty close to being correct. The water pressure is terrible, the shower trickles.

  I spent three nights at the hotel this week and it continues to impress me with it's level of professional service and accomodation. I had the opportunity to stay a Spa Suite this week. The suite had a bedroom with a jacuzzi, a washroom with a corner shower and a great room with a fireplace, 16 foot ceiling and kitchen. There was a king sized bed with an wonderful, firm mattress(it seemed almost new). The bedroom was away from the street and was quiet and dark. I used the jacuzzi two nights after exercising. I lost power to the living room area briefly one night and when I contacted the front desk, one of agents immediately came up to my floor and reset the breaker just down the hall.

  There was no shortage of very hot water for the tub and I got to relax afterward in a bathrobe provided by the hotel.

  The restaurant is very good, both with menu selection and pricing - I ended up eating there quite a bit.

  Considering the service levels displayed by most hotels, restaurants and retailers in Alberta, the staff at this property were very amicable. Kudos to Tina Coco, Catering Manager - she often tried to provide the best experience possible, was very approachable, and tried to meet our needs as best as possible. On the downside, the printer in the business centre never worked, which was a major inconvenience to me. Some of the front desk staff would print files for me while others were not so inclined to do so.

  I assumed it was gathered in dirty bathroom linnens from the day before cleaning and I had not noticed until the following morning. I spoke to Shannon at the front desk while checking out and a "that's odd" was the response. Very poor customer service, we shall not return.

• The girls at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful. There is a restaurant in the hotel which was quite good.

  While staying at the days inn and suites in west edmonton, we experienced a few problems with the water. This hotel is very nice and clean, but the water issues were very annoying. When you would turn on the tap or the shower, there would be a trickle of water come out. When we called the front desk, they were aware of the problem and said that it was something to do with EPCOR and the newly developed area of west edmonton.

  I recently stayed at here for a wedding in a jacuzzi suite. The staff was helpful and friendly, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
