Liked the location, the food, the bedroom twin sea view, although this lacked a tea tray and a handle is required on the wall to assist access to and from the bath.

The lounge seating and carpet in the reception area are dark and present a drab appearance. The access doors to the Hotel were dingy and finger marked and in need of cleaning. We did not readily see any childen's play facilities.

The room was excellent - large, overlooking the pool and the bay, with a fairly recently upgraded bathroom. The wedding we attended was well organised with good food and accommodation. The breakfast room and choice of menu was also very good.

The sea view and the service in the dining room

I have lived in Bournemouth for 40 years, but now live in Spain. My husband and I returned to Bmth for my daughter Sarah's wedding. I had to find a dress which took 3 days which meant the location of the hotel for shopping was faultless, the large T.V in our room meant that my husband could stay in and watch the cricket. The bar was modern and the service was lovely....sadly the weather was awful, my only addition to the hotel would be an indoor pool with spa....oh and the bed in room 302 was to die for, just wish there could have been room on the plane to take it home, we slept like babies and the icing on the cake was the view, totally stunning, thank you Marsham Court Hotel, this is a high rating 3 star hotel, great value for money and by the way... is there anyone out there, that would like to hire me as a hotel critic?

The breakfast was amazing, and the bar stayed open late. Location was ideal.

The bed was rather uncomfortable, too hard.

The location and the attitude of the staff we came into contact with was faultless. A very friendly and unobtrusive bunch. The room was very clean and above average for a hotel.

A little too busy, if anything. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would sacrifice an intimate atmosphere for the time we had at your hotel.

Booked to stay for one night on a Fri eve until Sat morning, the location is perfect 5 minutes from the town centre and beach. The reception/bar area is very spacious and modern and the staff are extremly helpful. Booking in was very straightforward. We booked a doulbe room and this also was a delight to stay in, spacious clean and with all the necessary items that you would expect from this type of hotel.

Everything was brilliant, but the only criticism would be that if you wanted to have your breakfast in you room through room service, the hotel charged an additional £4 per person which we felt was a bit excessive.

        The Sea view

Then lackadaisical attitude of the majority of the Staff. We found one manager very helpful as was one young lady waitress/Bar maid from Holland. The remainder were very dilatory.

The friendly and very helpful staff

There was a wedding reception taking place and did feel this impeded our comfort and our attempt at a relaxing evening was ruined. We did feel as if we came secondary to the wedding guests although this was not the fault of the bar staff who did find us a quiet place to enjoy our meal. Personally the bed in our room was far too soft and I found it uncomfortable and had difficulty sleeping.
