Dauphine Orleans Hotel New Orleans - 新奥尔良

Located on Dauphine Street, one block above and parallel to the swingning Bourbon Street, the Dauphine Orleans is a lovely hotel in a great location.

Other hotels at comparable prices were located 2-3 blocks out of the quarter downtown, and in retrospect, the Dauphine is a great location.

The location could not have been better and the hotel is well used.

Bell hop went out of his way to have a taxi wait for us that was scheduled to take us back to the airport.

The crowds were about what I remember for January (me and my girlfriends go to New Orleans every January and have for 8 years in a row now), everything is open, and I saw no effects from Katrina (even in the ride to and from the airport).

The room had a huge bed several closets, one bathroom with standup shower and toliet and other bathroom has a vanity and HUGE jaccuzi tub.

TURN-ONS: Price (fantastic deal w/airfare on Booked.net), location (quiet, safe area one block from Bourbon Street), fairly large clean room w/partial view, comfortable beds (TempurPedic but not the foam type - these were still very comfy), beautif

Rooms are smaller than the chain hotels, but the bed was the best -- down pillows and a big down body pillow -- as well as other amenities: robes in room, nice shampoos/lotions, coffee maker, iron/iron board, hair dryer.

This room is equipped with a fantastic king-size Tempurpedic bed, exposed brick walls, marble countertops, a refrigerator (a big perk in this city with its fabulous restaurants), and a double-headed shower/tub with a jacuzzi.

Our patio suite had exposed brick walls, exposed wooden rafters, brick fireplace/chimney, old French doors, with a king size bed, jacuzzi, walk-in closet, and small refrigerator in the room.

There is a bathroom in Mae Bialy’s the bar lounge that is across from the breakfast area but it doesn’t open until later than breakfast time.

Moreover cleaned the room, great little bar and a very charming restaurant.

The breakfast was mediocre and the pool area and bar were cute.

He even suggested a locals restaurant/bar that made the best burgers in town!

We ate every breakfast perched on the pool edge or 4 on a lounge chair.

If I had paid an additional $75, I would have been happy with the room quality and the staff at the front desk's service.

In a fantastic location, lOVELY hotel and everyone from the front desk staff to housekeeping was pleasant.

We enjoyed the pool in the evening, the wireless internet access in the hotel lobby/pool area, and the hotel's fantastic location as well.

The staff was nice, valet parking is on-site, there is a small pool, and the courtyards are nicely planted and cared for.

With continental breakfast, exercise room, morning paper at your door, and outdoor pool, plus parking available (for a price), this is the place to stay in the Quarter, and (at least in the off-season) the rates are very reasonable.

Free wireless connection was powerful & easy to use.

We were also able to get onto the hotel's wireless internet system without issue.

Our room was clean and pleasant, and the continental breakfast was first rate -- such fresh fruit!
