Good location, room rate includes free transport of all local buses/trams and this is a modern hotel is conveniently located close to the A3 motorway.
Excellent location for my visit to watch the football at the St Jacob Stadium, a pleasant 20 minute walk into the town of Basel and i liked that the hotel supported a social programme.
I'm sure the location of this hotel puts many people off staying as it is right on the edge of the city and only 20 metres from a major highway.
Upon arrival at the hotel I was provided with a free public transport pass for all buses and trams for the time of my stay, which was fantastic but I am not sure whether this is always included in the room fare.
There is also a tram stop located right outside the hotel if you prefer public transport.
In fact I thought at first the bathroom and bedroom was completely "open-plan" and it wasn't until my second day that I realised the bathroom could be shut off from the rest of the room!
My room was enormous and had plenty of space even though it actually had three beds!
A modern design hotel, friendly staff and rooms well laid out/ designed very well.
Hotel bicycles are perfect way to explore Basel and rooms are held in a very modern.

Cheap international phone calls and excellent breakfast.
The staff are lovely, excellent breakfast-best I have had in Switzerland-cooked eggs included in price.
Lastly I need to mention the very generous breakfast which is highly above average compared with hotels of the same category.
