The hotel was quiet little and stunningly beautiful, truly enjoyed street view from our double room. The breakfast food was outstanding and reasonably-priced. The room we had included a mini-bar, satellite TV, and climate control. Everything was great and the staff where pleasant.

Wonderful small hotel with excellent breakfasts. Excellent location just next door to Istanbul, hammam on the left and main sightseeing places. Yummy food in the rooftop restaurant in the vicinity.

The staff are helpful and offer concierge service, wake up service, and ironing free of charge.

The location was favourable, quite close to Ataturk. And it was also very close to Sultan Ahmed square, main sightseeing places, and many cafe and restaurants.

I had a great stay at a hotel in a prime location near Sultan Ahmet! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, even arranging transportation from the airport. The rooms were small but comfortable, and the breakfast included a variety of Turkish breakfast options. The highlight was the terrace with its beautiful view. I also appreciated the availability of tea throughout the day. Thank you to the staff, especially Orhan, for going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

It's a great location. main sights are within walking distance. Cleaning every day. Clean up well, change bed linens and towels every day. breakfasts are quite bearable. We were on New Year's Eve, room is very warm.

Soundproofing wouldn't hurt.

The hotel was fairly clean and the staff were very good. The location was marvellous and stunning, you can visit an ancient roman column by walking. This venue was in a good area just off Istanbul, an enchanting and beautiful city, and all main attractions.

We had a wonderful time at Dara Old City Hotel. The location was perfect, just a short walk from Sultanahmet Square and all the major sights. The room was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed and nice amenities. The highlight was definitely the breakfast on the terrace, with stunning views of the Marmara Sea. The staff, especially Aytac at the front desk, were incredibly helpful and friendly. They provided great recommendations for sightseeing and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for its great location, comfortable rooms, and excellent service.

The staff at Dara Hotel was supreme, always helpful and ready to answer any question one might about hotel or about sight seeing. The room I was given was small but beds were comfortable. The most important thing was that I wanted one room for 6 of us and they had it for a good price. I wanted my children with me in the same room. Internet connection was excellent and every major attraction was at comfortably walking distance and easy access to trains. Mconalds and tons of Turkish restaurants are in EZ access. I would try them again.

For a choosy person like me break fast was a little weak. Improvement in this area would really be something Dara Hotel would like to look into. A mix of Turkish and Continental break fast would be great.

Very clean room, central location and as we booked early, we got a very good rate.

Very small room. Actually this is the only hotel room I've ever stayed in, where there wasn't a wardrobe available. You have to hang your clothes on a wall hanger! By European standards, I think that the room would pass for a single room but definitely not a double room. By American stands, no comment!

The Basilica cistern is just 1 km away and it was easily accessible, and everything here met our needs.
