The hotel is situated about 10-15 minutes walk from the old city and the new city and is therefore in a great location.

The hotel is in a great location, close to downtown Jerusalem as well as to the old city.

The location (near the Kind David) can't be beat -- close to both the Old City and downtown restaurants -- and when in Jerusalem, you don't spend too much time in your room, anyway.

Location: this is the good part - the hotel is located 15 - 20 minutes easy walk to Jaffa Gate of the Old City and there are lots of buses and taxis around.

The location is excellent - you can walk to loads of places fairly quickly and there are taxis and bus stops right outside too.

Each room has a king bed or two single beds either together or separate, a writing desk, an easy chair, television, a room safe, and a clean and comfortable bath room.

Most rooms have twinsize beds- which was a problem for us because we have a baby and she sleep with us (the crack in the middle of the bed would seperate and make it difficult for her to sleep).

The bathroom was small but redone in a beautifully functional way (Lots of storage shelves above the toilet, a pullout magnification mirror, tub with both handheld and fixed shower heads).

We had 3 in our room and the extra bed fit without a problem.

The beds were two twin beds pushed together and a couch made into a bed for our daughter.

The staff in the restaurant and also in the bar area in the lobby are excellent.

The breakfast which is included in the price is very large and lots of different types of food to eat.

There was a TV there, well-stocked bar, as well as internet access (from 7 am-10pm) and many different food presentations are laid out each day.

Breakfast was a lovely Israeli meal with cheeses, fruit pastries etc.

I found the staff very friendly, the food great, the best breakfast, so much variety; location was in walking distance to every thing I would stay there again.

The rooms were very basic and we found this to be a very average hotel, although the reception staff and concierge were extremely helpful and very pleasant and location is good.

Service: I found the front desk staff bery rude.

Assim, the assistant reception manager, gave us the best customer service i have experienced.

Location was perfect for my travel purposes, this was our first stay at a Dan Hotel so we were pleasantly surprised that they upgraded us to a suite and the front desk staff were attentive.

The elevators are very old, slow and in order to get to the underground parking there is a need to climb a few stairs, which is not very helpful if you need to carry a heavy loads.

They need a face lift as they are dull and dark, including the furniture.

The rooftop pool was heated so no worry the wind kicked up a bit.

Friendly & helpful staff, great breakfast buffet and our room was modern & clean.

The room was new, comfortable, clean and exactly what I had asked for ("superior" class room).

Our rooms were very nice, had all the necessary features and were in clean and good condition.

The hotel is nothing amazing, but the rooms are clean and comfortable.

10 minute walk from Jaffa Gate (go through the park just a block behind the hotel - - very safe and a pleasant break from traffic), typical over-extended Israeli hotel breakfast, clean rooms with modern furnishings, helpful staff.
