The room was beautifully designed and the bed was very comfortable. It is ideally located within walking distance to the old city.

I loved the location. It is a small hotel which made it more personable.Josef in particular was incredibly helpful and friendly.

Central location and very comfortable room with excellent view over old city.

          Nothing. Everything was good.

Staff was very friendly and courteous. The Israeli breakfast (included at most hotels) was quite tasty with a lot of variety.

Overall hotel and room decor very dated. Very noisy hallways. Fitness area is not well maintained.

breakfast poor, was given false information from staff on reception regarding border closing times and places to eat.

This was a really nice, upscale, and small hotel. The size made it more intimate. We came with our nine year old daughter and the staff, particularly the kitchen staff did their utmost to make sure that she was happy. Furthermore, it is very well situated to the old city and many other areas of interest in Jerusalem. This hotel really contributed greatly to a wonderful weekend in Jerusalem.

Relatively near to the old city.

I was advised my Visa card was not accepted - stood for 40 minutes waiting for them to figure out what was wrong. When they couldn't figure it out, they told me it was my card, which I knew it wasn'T. I fortunately had another payment card, which I used. I later called Visa and was told there was nothing at all wrong with my card and they couldn't even see any attempt at a transaction. I ended up losing my air miles points because I couldn't use my card at the hotel.

The location is excellent. Fifteen minute walk from the Old City. Also 15 minute walk from German Colony. The room was comfortable although we had a view of the parking lot. The staff is quite helpful and kind.

Friday night dinner was overpriced and the food was just ok.

Rooms were compact but basic facilities. Clean.

Internet charges were the most expensive in the world. Laundry charges were extremely expensive. Hotel staff not very cooperative. Separate solicitation for laundry with "negotiated charges" to Star Laundry at extremely high prices. 70 sheckels a bag of laundry - most expensive in the world! Issue that hotel staff making side deals with tourists. Felt we "were nickled and dimed" every step with this hotel.

The staff was very helpful and friendly....the hotel clean and comfortable...and the location fine, just a 10-15 minute walk to the Old City.

Nice views of city, sophisticated environment, interesting location

small room, not enough space to store clothing and personal items, no comfortable place in room to sit, cooler/refrigerator worked poorly, internet computer way overpriced.

The thing that I liked best was the design of the hotel

I didn't like the breakfast on Saturday morning. There was a sign that said that because of Jerusalem Rabbinage Regulation, no warm food was served on Saturday morning. I understand that. I think however that the hotel might find a way to allow non Sabbath observers to warm foot(a stove that can be switch on by the client directly? A pan on a stove in which client can cook his own egg?). A timer in the kitchen? There must be a way to comply with Sabbath and not limit the liberty of non observers. As they did with elevator. Just a suggestion.
