Dakota Pines Inn Rapid City - 拉皮德城

This motel is in a good location and close to restaurants and Wal-Mart.

The location was right off of I-90, close to several restaurants and right across the street from Wal Mart.

While our rooms were both non-smoking, we did suffer a little from the odours from adjoining rooms where patrons smoked in bathrooms and it filtered through.

The room was OK, but even though it was non smoking (and all the rooms around it had "non smoking" on the doors too), it smelled like smoke.

The breakfast room was consequently often too crowded to enter - my tip is to get in early.

I would not stay here again because of the smell of smoke in our non smoking room.

We received a phone call just a couple days before leaving for our recent vacation that Thunderbird Lodge in Rapid City was under new ownership and is now called Dakota Pines.

The hotel is within walking distance of a good value buffet restaurant, Subway and other fast food restaurants & cafes and a large Walmart.

The Dakota Pines is a good hotel in the Rapid City area, staff are very friendly and complimentary breakfast is cereal.

Breakfast was much better than some with waffles, toast, cearal, muffins and fruit.

Breakfast was good for the money and the staff were lovely.

Hotel staff gave good directions, the service was great and the complimentary internet access in the foyer was a godsend.

We were made so welcome by the manager and all the staff made us really feel as if we were at home.
