All in all, pay a little more and stay in a hotel with better reviews.
The location is far from the city centre - and the bus stops are not as close to the hotel as the hotel web-site suggests.
She gave us maps and advice for the buses and directions to the main attractions for our short stay.
The bus into the centre is about 150m away.
The hot water did not work in our room, and the management kept giving us a run around as to when it would be fixed.
The bathroom was very old and filthy, the window security shutters did not close, I could go on and on, oh and it is at least 40 minutes walk to the centre not 20 minutes like the advertising says.
TV, a phone that didnt work, a window with a mini balcony, and an OLD A/C unit that was loud and didnt blow out very cold air.
The booking voucher said 'room with a river view' but the.
The rooms were shabby with missing handles on cupboards etc.
Breakfast was about average for a 'continental'.
Comfortable and convenient for my purposes - one night and breakfast.
The hotel is not close to any restaurant, or bus stop and there is no river view.
Furthermore, the dust was caked on the lighting fixtures and there was an 8 month expired candy bar in the mini fridge.
The breakfast was a joke, as you had to practically beg for something simple as a croissant.

When we called hotel reception, a guy came rubbing his eyes, said that "yes, there is a problem" and walked away.
Next day, while checking out (relieved to leave) the lady at the reception mentioned that many people had complained about this the A/C and they will fix it soon!
The staff is polite but does not seem to care for guests.
The receptionist at the other hotel I checked into said the Da Verrazano is the worst hotel in all of Florence/Firenze.
We arrived late in evening and the gentleman at reception was most helpful with car parking and our load of luggage - raining too!
It is definitely not as advertised, very dirty, and the A/C kept shutting off, as it was controlled by the lobby.
Room was fine - clean and comfortable and everything in good order.
The room was not particularly clean either.
