Nonetheless, this hotel was exceptional in terms of value for money and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful.
C room was realy fantastic as was the view, welcoming hotel that was excellent value for money and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Some of the reviews seem to come from people who expect the very best for paying so little,if there not happy pay top dollar for top hotels.
I told him I booked the hotel because of how nice the rooms looked and there were pictures on the website, and whether the hotel has increased it's prices or not has nothing to do with me!
Good points - breakfast and the location.
This seems expensive, but given the location, and the hotel's "star" rating, its about right.
Brilliant location staff very helpful and friendly, comfortable hotel.
Wonderful location and a short walk to the town & station.

I was happy with my single room with side sea view and the bed was very comfortable, with a good size bathroom although it did take rather a long time for the hot water to come through.
I faced these problems: The telly was so ANCIENT it had no remote, was toppling over and hardly worked; no soaps in the bathroom (that was sorted) but the bed was dusty!
However when i arrived we were given a side double room with no balcony and a single bed for my son squeezed in.
Bottom line for what I paid, the standard room was a bargain and very comfortable too, the TV does need upgrading but again I did ask about this and was told that 2009 all rooms will have plasma TV.
Heating that was ancient and a bed that was as stable as a bucking bronco!
The restaurant & bar staff were very polite and could not do enough for you.
I was asked to provide my own soya milk, and even though Eduardo the Restaurant Manager tried to understand my allergy, my main course was still served in a butter sauce and no attempt was made to help with breakfast.
At breakfast, the hotel manager had a lengthy discussion with the restaurant manager about how he wanted the cheese sliced more thinnly "Continental" style.
The bar was fantastic and our evening meals were lovely.
We had such a choice, inside lounge area, inside bar area or the lido deck outside, which did not feel like you where sitting in Bournemouth more like Miami!
In the bar areas unusually excellent, certainly liked the decor and the staff on reception were very friendly.
The reception lobby was amazing, the front of desk staff were very attentive and helpful, the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

After being seating the gorgeous Red Door room we were treated to attentive service by all your staff.
I stayed in this hotel with my two children and was immediately impressed as the lobby/dining room/pool area has been revamped in a black and white art deco style.
Drinks on the terrace overlooking the pool and lunch was also of a high standard.
The wine choice was excellent and the outdoor pool was out of action.
The room I was given was very clean and tidy and had a wonderful view overlooking the sea.
Moreover the bathroom was clean, the food.
